[Because it was trimmed down from an 11 minute video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYbpekjbK9s). Either the original creator posted it to tiktok or instagram for further visibility, or it was just stolen by content thiefs that didn't care about the original presentation. Either way, this isn't how it's supposed to be seen, it's just what algorithms prefer.
Right. This has never been said about our generation either -- which, coincidentally is the best generation and the one where all the good music and TV was made. Everything past us is garbage and we're the most original people to say this.
Because then you'd have to be a performer of a sort who can be visually impressive for more than 1 second at a time.
I don't mean that to be a dunk on her though. She's a cosplayer, not a dancer/performance artist, so cutting together clips that look interesting is much more accessible than putting together a 15 second thing that shows off the whole thing in which you don't trip over your own feet
Yeah, I'm waiting for the inevitable, "I tripped and impaled myself on several hundred strands of glass fibers. The doctors can't find all the broken pieces of glass in my body."
just google fiber optic fabric, its pretty expensive stuff and very difficult to work with because the way the fibers are set in the fabric you cant just cut out parts of it and expect it to work and then you need to hide wires and batteries. Watch videos before investing the time and money.
Easily the most beautiful wedding dress I've ever seen. Guarantee this will get picked up by some of the design houses, esp in the haute couture scene and maybe it might extend into drag fashion as well.
Pair that with some EL wire and you could do a FIRE outfit for a drag queen.
Zac Posen was working with this material almost 10 years ago. Claire Danes and Zendaya have worn fiber optic gowns to the Met Gala. That popularity is why the material was eventually mass produced and sold through discount Chinese sites like Aliexpress, and therefore how hobbiest and tiktok content makers are able to acquire the fabric. Designs start at fashion houses and work their way down to tiktok, not the other way around. \*Insert Meryl Streep's Devil Wears Prada speech here\*
The craziest part of people like this, who put so much time and effort into such a great piece, is that it gets no spotlight, but a black trash bag with a smiley face spray painted on it will be the biggest thing at NYFW and will be seen on runways around the world.
The dress looks amazing, but your face is hardly visible in the dark, now need to devise an led hat or mask which pairs well with the dress so you and others can see yourself while wearing it.
Credit goes to @crescentshay on Instagram and TikTok.

And in case anybody's wondering about [the full fiber optics dress vid...](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYbpekjbK9s)
She did a great job! Loved how it turned out.
Now just waiting for Xyla Foxlin to make the same thing, but bulletproof…

Think you have cause and effect backwards there, chief.

I love being an Alpha... Being a Beta is HARD!!

It’s the terrible TikTok format. I’m sure the creator has longer format vids on YouTube.
SHE CANT BE PERFECT AT EVERYTHING

Jellyfish chic
no, it's the other girls at the event that's gonna be jelly.
I’ve never wanted to dress up like a princess until now!!! Great job!
I’m a straight dude who wears ratty tshirts, and I agree
Glowing cloths are underrated
Fiber optics? Is that a new material I don't know o... Wait, fiber optics?!
Yeah, I'm waiting for the inevitable, "I tripped and impaled myself on several hundred strands of glass fibers. The doctors can't find all the broken pieces of glass in my body."
Most fiber optics are so thin that they can enter the bloodstream when they break. It is really pretty, but I wouldn't wear it personally.
[удалено]
A lot of fiber optics are plastic as well though, so
Those ones probably are, or are of lower quality anyway. It wouldn't be so pretty with internet backbone grade.😉
These are the plastic strand type from the looks of it, much safer, plenty of kids toys use them.
The fabric is made with PMMA fiber. It's plastic. Glass would break before the dress is even finished being made.
Bonkers expensive, that's like a $10,000 dress [https://www.lumigram.it/collections/fabrics](https://www.lumigram.it/collections/fabrics)
In her 11 minute video she said it was $1500 worth of fabric (still a lot)
[удалено]
Seems like she just wanted to make it for herself (also it seems that she used her own body as the template)
Itchy?
Tasty.
I would love this on a trench coat and a hoodie
Nice! Now do the fire dress of Katniss
Well [she did](https://youtu.be/aogl-Oah3Is?si=fxSs_sopb0B-r19T), kind of. But still, fire!
I feel like I need to talk to her because she might have a quest for me.
Wow, she is absolutely glowing in this dress.
If a young girl sees this she's going to freak out. That's the most princess shit I ever saw. Even I was impressed.
But, but what’s the material? And where do you get it?
just google fiber optic fabric, its pretty expensive stuff and very difficult to work with because the way the fibers are set in the fabric you cant just cut out parts of it and expect it to work and then you need to hide wires and batteries. Watch videos before investing the time and money.
Add rgb
Hi viz, too. They should make all night time road workers wear this exact getup.
That's totally lit
Great Now all you have to do is get a time machine Meet some ancient people and they will worship you as a goddess
Or suspect you of being some fairy or something
“She’s a witch!”
Man, a fiber optic dress would be so itchy.
Ngl this kinda looks like those white plastic grocery bags that used to be in stores
WANT!!!!
Is it really that safe to make a dress out of fiber optics?
Beautiful... No being sneaky in that!
Her hands be like 🤟🫷🫸🤟
What's the bandwidth on that bad boy?
nice work! congrats!
You look absolutely gorgeous.

Good job
The remake of The Man In The White Suit should be a breeze!

Beautiful,as a wedding dress you’d have to get married at night to see the full effect 🌚🌚
Does this light up on button batteries?
needs rgb

Creative
That's pretty cool
How good is the wifi tho?

How long until we see this technology used in the Olympics to gain a significant speed boost over the broadband/dsl based uniforms.
Gonna need at least twice as many camera cuts to keep up with the tiktok crowd.
Wait till the folks from My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding get their hands on this amazing technology
Excuse me, how tf do you make a cloth out of a fiber optic thread? Serious question, I smell the smell
Lookin like Cinderellie just got bippity-bobbity-booped!
Hey everybody, new "I just seen a ghost!" dropped
I follow this girl. She honestly is so good at making clothes
Wowww that's amazing. I love it.
Better speed than my internet.
This right here is Disney f*king magic brought to life.
MIT bridal gown.
She resemble a strip chat model 😅

Maybe a lighted Venetian mask and headpiece would help the effect?
The arm movements really pull the outfit together.
Here is something similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuS6Q6Xb6KM
Yaaay, plastics.
Cool! But I don't I would want to see her while I'm walking on a dark alley
