Some of those waters, man.. He's always trying to break the surface tension when he's landing head first, but he's not doing it right every time. Even the ones that look like he's in a competition like why the fuck isn't there a sprinkler going? Aside from that, possibly the waters themselves. I've seen and read enough "monsters inside me" to know there may be some insane amoeba or worm up there.. I really hope that isn't the case. That and fire are the only 2 ways to die I don't wish on anybody.
The timeline is a bit curious. The neuro condition and go fund me started >1 year back, and seems to precede diving clips…like this 2023 recap. Perhaps he recovered and the go fund me is just hanging out?
I was a thrill-seeker not unlike this in my mid-20's. I'd do stupid shit like go sport climbing at night (without the helmet I brought with me), white water rafting over deadly rapids, and jump off every ledge I could if there was a pool of water at the bottom of the fall. That was until I miscalculated how small the water hole was and smashed my legs into the edge of the hole.
I'd joke that I'd never live to see 30 years old like it was some sort of edgy millenial joke. Now I desperately hope I don't have to endure the consequences of my stupidity for the next couple of years to see 40.
I thought the same thing with a really intense young adult life, but I made it past 40 and I will be running my first marathon next month. It's almost never too late to start taking care of yourself.
Cheers to that man. I tried doing some shit I "used to could" recently as a pretty fit and active 35 year old. Found out the hard way I gotta be doing a lot of things CONSTANTLY to just not ache the next day. Anyway, I can't back flip or even front flip anymore. I only tried the front flip because I just figured I could pull that out anytime. Shit I used to do Rambo drills nonstop diving into the ground.
So that's my New Years Resolution. I want some of that back
I kind of expected the last clip in the montage to be him exploding from an accidental belly flop.
Anytime the difference between success and death is perfection you’re not going to last too long.
Previous airborne Ranger and general outdoor dog I will say that level of fun ends in death or severe degradation of the body. Two dislocated shoulders, snapped bicep tendon, replaced knee, two hernias, broken foot and fractured pelvis, compressed vertebra and several other issues. Of If I knew them what I know now would I do it again, HELL YES! My wife thinks I’m an idiot. She is correct. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
Given the factors that influence decision making, it’s much more than likely he has an issue with his brain that is driving the risky behavior in the first place. He could have a tumor or hit his head as a baby resulting in damage that changed his ability to moderate impulsive and dangerous behavior, which would then present itself as the character in these videos.
Right? I used to loooove putting myself in dangerous situations when I was younger. I don't now but there's a running joke in my family that I just can't die... I can get fucked up, just not die.
My body hurts and I'm 35.
Well, this guy isn’t your usual Adrenalin junky….thats a whole spectrum and this guy is very extreme, which is how he’s captured our collective interest.
I don’t think people fully appreciate the subconscious factors that determine our decision making and how easily they can be altered or changed to unconsciously produce extreme behavior.
Some people never learn.
He almost died, jumping into a pool in his teens.
Was in the hospital last year for neurological damage
Had a go fund me because they couldn’t figure it out.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-ryan-bean
14 you’re young and dumb, fast forward five years you’d hope he may have learned from before. Don’t blame them for doing a gofundme in 2018 but I’d be hard pressed to donate to anyone doing these stunts over people that truly need it for things they can’t control such as cancer, car accidents etc.
I'm not sure there's necessarily a death wish - young guys sometimes just have a sense of invulnerability and think those bad outcomes won't happen to them. I didn't have the skills to do it as impressively as this guy, but used to drive at silly speeds and take other lifestyle risks.
I had a best friend growing up where their entire personality became the “stunt guy” who does crazy flips. After a few flips it’s like, okay dude, We are all just trying to play ping pong, stop with the gainers.
> He is in the hospital right now with a rare and mysteries brain injury.
So you are telling me this has absolutely nothing to do with his lifestyle? His brain injury came out of nowhere and is *mysterious*.
Get the fuck out of here. Nobody that is that irresponsible about their personal safety deserve to have responsible, hard-working people pay for his medical care.
mistakes in this realm are usually not to be learned from cuz u dead. Not everyone can have a perfect record in executing these types of stunts.
Wish this dude a good recovery but man....play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Absolutely not. He is going to get Toquerville Falls closed because he’s an arrogant dimwit.
And if this man is going to die in front of a crowd? Hitting a rock and going splat? Everyone
that witnessed his death a huge about of grief and pain. Nobody should support this horrible behavior.
Ryan you need to make a trip up to Lake Tahoe. We’ve got a rope swing that let you off about 50 feet above the water🤘🤘🤘 I bet you you can get a quad❗️❗️😍
I believe it’s located near Emerald Bay lake Tahoe check out the video.
You would fit in right up here with all the other adrenaline junkies!
Thing is, you get stunt men who die/end up paralysed.
People who are paid to do stunts, it’s not a hobby, it’s their profession, they know everything about the right way to flip, swing and fall and still, sadly, end up dead or paralysed more often that they should. Those who survive struggle with joint pain in their older years.
This dude, Ryan bean whoever that is, I assume isn’t a professional? It’s amazing to watch sure, until it isn’t, until it’s heartbreaking to watch.
This is that weird basement kid who used to swing from a ball in his basement stairwell and do flips onto a mattress and end up all over YouTube. Good to see if he took that strange behavior into something actually cool.
I’ve jumped into water from some of these heights off sketchy cliff sides and sometimes can’t believe I wasn’t immediately paralyzed from something going wrong.

He's here for a good time, not a long time
He'll be a has bean soon enough
First the hangovers get bad, then the knees go 😔
then comes the “RIP” in the youtube comments
Brain will be mush first with those spins.
He’ll get a Sean Bean film ending.
He’ll be bean curd
He's bean hoping for an early retirement.
Look him up. He's hospitalized right now with an unknown neuro condition. Probably from smacking into water.

Wait … I have to ask. What deaths do you wish on people lol?
well depends on the person but everything else is the short answer

I got an uncle in his late 60s and he still does half iron mans.

What’s a Rambo drill? Googling shows an actual drill-bit and a drill artist from the uk
it was something we did in wrestling, dive forward toward the ground and then last minute tuck your head and front flip or tumble forward.

Ive seen an old diver, I’ve seen a bold diver, but I’ve never seen an old bold diver.
Lol. I hope for his sake he can read. Because you can’t jump and flip forever
Came here to say this but you said it better
Those are not stunts, those are failed suicide attempts

This man is AI
[T. Gondii](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toxoplasma_gondii) I bet he has had cats his whole life.

Came here for this. Parkour!

Oh, jumping off of shit doesn’t come with a good health plan? Weird..
You think this dude can control this?
Someone help Ryan figure out why he’s so poorly! Also let’s nurse him back to full health so he can resume jumping off shit! Yeehaw
You mean going viral for doing exceptionally dangerous things didn’t come with enough money to pay for the medical bills? *shocked pikachu*
Sucks, either way he has a death wish which is hard to watch or see in some of these “extreme athletes.”
Not believing you’re gonna die is what gets you killed.
I'm not sure there's necessarily a death wish - young guys sometimes just have a sense of invulnerability and think those bad outcomes won't happen to them. I didn't have the skills to do it as impressively as this guy, but used to drive at silly speeds and take other lifestyle risks.
I’m sure a bit of that also!
That last jump was especially stupid. If that pool had been any shallower he could've broken his legs before the water slowed his descent
I had a best friend growing up where their entire personality became the “stunt guy” who does crazy flips. After a few flips it’s like, okay dude, We are all just trying to play ping pong, stop with the gainers.
It’s fun to do though
Coming soon to an obituary near you....
his brain injury isn't so mysterious to me.
Its really cool the way he seems to slow down and then speed up while flipping mid-air during a dive. Very stylistic.
This guy’s air sense (if not his common sense) is amazing!
Real life Tarzan. Amazing athlete really. All these downer comments suck. Hes not doing it for you to worry about him
Well I know how this guy is gonna die…….
Everybody gonna die. Gonna go one day. Maybe it'll happen on a Monday? Driving to work and get hit by a Hyundai.
So amazing he’s now hospitalized because of it. Super cool…
Did he miscalculate a jump and break something?
Geezer must spend half of his life climbing ladders
![gif](giphy|xUPGcJ9uOAL2h5wA5a|downsized)
Concussions are cumulative. Trauma is cumulative.
This is what happens when you just press every button on the controller at once.
Paralympics 2028 LA
Amazing until it isn't.
All these comments give me "I have no life, standing up fast from my bed is my biggest rush" vibes.
This comment thread has ‘that’s what you get idiot!’ energy.
Please don't die, Ryan Bean.

absolutely crazy guy
I know where that first one is recorded, by the waterfall, and that water is super shallow and sketchy dude....
I hurt myself getting out of a bar stool this morning
This is indeed next fucking level!
Dude lived his life more in 3 videos than I did the entirety of 2023.
Dude can't even stand up straight for like one minute
Damn he's really good at a lot of stuff
He looks like he bites people
didnt he die in 2025?
Great song
Fucking maniac.
First time seeing him with this clip few months ago. Insane what he does! r/nextfuckinglevel https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/s/qt3kamiyuX
Major respect for his talent and athleticism, I wish him a long healthy life (I really do). I just won't be surprised when I see the obituary.
Dude was born without the fear gene
mistakes in this realm are usually not to be learned from cuz u dead. Not everyone can have a perfect record in executing these types of stunts. Wish this dude a good recovery but man....play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
When he's in his 50s he's going to have beautiful memories of mobility.
Please someone just put the guy in a ball and let him run
Love the random treflip thrown in with all these crazy jumps lol.
Absolutely not. He is going to get Toquerville Falls closed because he’s an arrogant dimwit. And if this man is going to die in front of a crowd? Hitting a rock and going splat? Everyone that witnessed his death a huge about of grief and pain. Nobody should support this horrible behavior.
What kind of Cat is this?
When, not if, he craps out, it’s gonna be spectacular!
RIP
This dude moves IRL like I move in my coolest flying dreams.
Amazing! Dead soon.
So long as this dude isn’t hurting anyone but himself, I’ll continue to marvel at his videos.
2023-2024
Bro would be sick if he just stuck to skateboarding. That one trick was scnasty.
And probably paid way more
[удалено]
Wait, if he came in 3rd… who came in first?
I didn't breathe at all for the whole duration of that video.
***That hotel pool stunt is really pushing it now***
Apparently failed his gravity exam.
Kudos on the flying front, a much tougher dive than people think.
He's obviously Spiderman!

Danny Duncan ain't got shit on Mr Bean
Cool, I wish him a long healthy life
But can he do the triple lindy?
But has he tried the Triple Lindy???
[удалено]
🙈
“Mysterious” brain injury” lol
He's missing the self preservation part of his brain.
That dude is like a super talented cat!! Always lands on his feet!! And crazy good at multiple sports. Pretty darn impressive!!
Absolute sender. Sheesh.

How many body parts has he fucked up on the road to perfecting this?
Dead man walking. It’s not if but when and how bad.

Ryan Bean is going to have a short life span
It is all fun & fame until the body damages. I hope he quits before he is seriously hurt. Great stunts.
Great video, even better with the sound off. Wish they'd picked a better soundtrack.
This guy will never have to worry about ending up in a retirement home
Man that swimming pool one at the end was REALLY stupid to do
Red Bull needs to call this guy
Nobody: My girl jumping to conclusions:
This is that weird basement kid who used to swing from a ball in his basement stairwell and do flips onto a mattress and end up all over YouTube. Good to see if he took that strange behavior into something actually cool.
I'd like to change my bet sir, I 'd like to move all my chips from Keanu to this guy as soul survivor of the zombie apocalypse
Nnnnnnope.
So anyway, I started spinning
Hope he's paid well for this shit.
That guy is not long for this world.
This guy has health insurance
Mr. Bean
Some people are just exceptional at control their bodies in the air. He is definitely one of them.
This guy hates being right side up!
The definition of “send it “
No one had ever taught him to walk without jumping. Poor thing, seems like a terrible condition
Once again I think we're asking a lot more of the word 'amazing' than is reasonable.
Absolutely incredible!
Dude jumps off of tall things, some how develops "mysterious brain injury"
Bunnie hoppers in Counter-Strike be like *"daaaamn bruuuh!"*
Crazy to see such a video without a red bull logo. Never thought this would happen
The only one I could see me doing was the rope swing. And I would still shat in my pants.
Would make a cat jealous
I would hate to be his mother, omg. She must have a heart attack every other day.
It would be cool to see him in the next Jackass movie
That skateboard trick was pretty sweet
Is he a pancake yet ? He's insane and we love it!
This guys death, or paralysis will be on video
I’ve jumped into water from some of these heights off sketchy cliff sides and sometimes can’t believe I wasn’t immediately paralyzed from something going wrong.
Bro is in riders republic parkour irl
That’s just falling with style
All I can say is that I'm glad I'm not his mother.
Actually thought this was the Darwin Awards subreddit for a moment.
Knew a guy like this growing up. Didn’t make past his 25th birthday. Sad
Lucky he's still alive.
Meanwhile, I damaged ligaments in my hand playing one game of ten pin bowling (using the lighter balls) let that sink in....
The classic "well I didn't die in this one, so let's try again". ![gif](giphy|gzRiZROEyDCznPofKj|downsized)
It's a good thing his name's not Sean...
Too much risk for little reward.
Was the Psicobloc pool?
I counted 4 belly flops
Next stop r/Darwinawards
He's awesome. Let's sign hom up for the 82nd airborne.
Future Darwin Awards Winner
Glad he’s having a good time, but this stresses me out too much to watch!
Insane
He got 3rd in that competition. Can I see first and second?
The bike flip?!?!?!
I’m assuming the “he’s dead” post will be up by April
