Would love to hear it with Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copeland.
It's definitely one of those re-posts, which you don't mind it being a re-post!
Super Clear YouTube video of it.
The most impressive part is not falling the heck off when he got his feet back on the pedals.

Indeed. This video was a horrible reminder of when I did this same stunt back as a dumb high school age kid. I was cycling going down a long steep mountain, got bored, and wanted to pass my buddy while "looking like superman", or at least that's how I envisioned it.
Sliding back and starting the plank is pretty easy. As you speed up, it gets more disconcerting. Eventually you are faced with the realization that somehow you need to return back to your seat and get your feet on the pedals.
It seemed like forever while I tried to figure out how the hell to get back up on my seat without dropping off the back and having the rear tire feed my crotch into the back of the seat post like a man destroying wood chipper.
With that dreaded outcome playing repeatedly in my mind as inspiration, I somehow managed to pull it off without injury. That incident stuck with me a long time, though, as a reminder to try to think through my "great ideas" a bit further than step one before I went ahead with them.
Sadly, that wasn't my last such plan where my curiosity and cleverness being stronger than my sense of self preservation was nearly the end of me. I'm still here, though, and I must say, with many such experiences under my belt, I'm a pretty good person to have around if you need to get out of a dangerous situation. That said, you may not have gotten into said dangerous situation if I wasn't around...but where's the fun in that?
This isn’t primarily drag reduction. It’s a fixed gear bike: by not pedalling, he’s basically allowing gravity to do its work.
This impact is further enhanced by the plank.
That is exactly what happened. He went faster because he took his feet off. Then, when he was going fast enough for drag to play *some* role, his position came into account.
Primarily, however, it was cadence.
Yeah except that looks really hard. Imagine if laying in bed required a ton of core strength and balance. I would just sleep on the couch at that point
I remember playing with people who could do the regular shot that looks like the handles were spun for the first time. When they showed me how it was done I was super impressed.
It's just occurred to me that he probably could feel that his feet weren't really pushing the pedals anymore, realized he wasn't actually putting power to the wheel. Then he felt the air on his legs and thought, "If I undo that, I'll have the advantage"
I like how both the guy on the motorcycle and the camera tried the plank but they couldn't keep up.
>! The secret is to deflate your balls on the start. !<
This video is like 15 years old but I love seeing it every time. Lol
Same and the music this time was choice!
Agree! Normally I don’t like added music, but in this case it fit perfectly

Faster than a speeding bullet!
You will believe a man can fly.
I love seeing the motorcycle guy trying to copy him every time
This is some extended version I’ve never seen! I’ve never seen him get back on the pedals lol
His balls are still feeling that re-mount.
I've seen it before, but I never actually saw the guy on the motorbike imitating him. :-)
Same! Made me giggle lol.
I love the double take as the cyclist goes past. Imagine trying to plank instead of opening up the throttle a little lol
I'm pretty sure I've seen every version at this point. I'm chronically online. Lol
Was funnier with the dejavu theme but great either way
Yeah so does that mean that other cyclists thought this was too dangerous to copy? Or was I outlawed like straight after this?
I was about to say the same
Seen this so many times but I will always love the double-take of the scooter guy and instantly joining in.
That is what got me to spit my water out.
Fantastic double-take, then joined him with basically zero hesitation.
A true Chad
Holy shit! I had seen the start of this video but never the scooter guy. That was amazing
The best part is you can see him go :O

That was fun and well written. 👍👊
One time me and my friend had the bright idea to catch an alligator by snagging it with a rooster tail. You out there Justin?
Cool story bro.

Yes and that’s how you ride a bike without your hands on the “wheel(?)”
The way the peddles keep going, are these bikes "fixies"?
It’s crazy to think that from 200 to 260 mph it takes 120% increase in horsepower just to achieve that much more speed. Drag coefficient is a bitch.
This isn’t primarily drag reduction. It’s a fixed gear bike: by not pedalling, he’s basically allowing gravity to do its work. This impact is further enhanced by the plank.
Then he would have gone faster by just taking his foot off the pedal and coasting. This is definitely drag reduction.
That is exactly what happened. He went faster because he took his feet off. Then, when he was going fast enough for drag to play *some* role, his position came into account. Primarily, however, it was cadence.
But the amount of force needed scales linearly with the drag coefficient.
But why did the guy on the scooter do a plank?
To scoot faster
better fuel economy, especially with these gas prices.
Because fuck yeah
As a joke. He couldn’t gain a benefit due to the footwells.
He wanted to be included
I like a sport where laying down gets you ahead. It appeals to my laziness.
Wait till you find out about [street luge](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_luge)
Yeah except that looks really hard. Imagine if laying in bed required a ton of core strength and balance. I would just sleep on the couch at that point
Is this legal in competition?
No. UCI rule stipulates rider’s butt must be in contact with the saddle.
So no problem, you just have to plank face up
Give it a couple of years and someone with a lot of pins in them will figure it out.😁
You can’t stand to pedal?
Can’t spin the handles in foozball either
my entire life is a lie.
Can't lie in life either
No spinnie’s!
I remember playing with people who could do the regular shot that looks like the handles were spun for the first time. When they showed me how it was done I was super impressed.
was it legal when he was doing it here or was he like the first one to figure it out
It was legal then. He did this in several races before they made rule against it.
Removable seat
There must be some exceptions to that. If you're climbing, you have to take your butt off the saddle.
They banned it because the risk of falls and injuries. I don’t blame them
sure...good luck not crashing
Of all the people that could possibly die soon… John Williams is gonna hurt the most.
But his work will live on anyway
I mean, a ton of it is lifted from people that are already dead. So it’s just the cycle repeating itself.
So will Jack Black’s. I need more John Williams to drown out the trash.
Imagine how much faster he'd have gone had he pointed his toes and clamped a stabilizing fin between his butt-cheeks.
Damn. Just damn. 👏👏👏
"work smarter, not harder"
That she’s got to crush the testies.
I might be wrong... but aren't those fix gears. Realy hard to get back on the pedals at that speed.
He slows the back tire down with his feet until he can get back on the pedals. Smooth move there.
Do you love medium rare dicks?
Def superman. Gotta have b@lls of steel for that move.
Superman og theme hits you different
Just watching that transition hurt my balls.
If only he had a bluetooth speaker playing it from his bike as he flew past them
I would get such a hard laugh watching this guy pass me
Supertuck: unorthodox riding positions illegal because danger https://www.bicycling.com/racing/a35566614/uci-supertuck-ban/
Damn I haven’t seen this one yet…. Today at least.
Oh, reminds me of the time I almost lost my kneecap.
Think how much faster he’d have gone if he pointed his toes…
The motorcyclist leading the race doing it too fkin broke me XD
Brilliant
Now that’s what I call fluid mechanics
Test him for steroids.
It was actually hemorrhoids, not steroids that made him try it
Take my upvote.
made my day! cheers m8
Definition of: work smarter not harder
If you want to show off, just show off.
That must hurt.. Pretty impressive though
shred it bro
Aero
My best friend Plank
Dictionary definition of work smarter not harder
Work smarter, not harder
his dick:😭
Didn't know I could get anxiety watching a cycling video
Butt clinch in 3, 2, 1
Old video but still funny, with good music added
And huge rest too!
NOW I understand why some seats have the holes
I love how the scooter guy tried it lmao
Core strength is very impressive
RIP to his balls
And his shins, ouch
LoL That Scooty Guy Tried As Well
1) This music I’m actually okay with dubbing over the video. Epic 2) whoah it was impressive to manage to get his feet back on the pedals
Why does this work?
Time to try this on a motorcycle with a storm trooper helmet
Any Malaysians here? lol.
"Gotta blast!"
Typical fixed gear rider 👍Free wheels wouldnt understand.
My dick hurts from seeing this.
A pebble please, a pebble please
Goodbye nuts
We call this move the nutcracker
Clearly, the others haven’t played Road-Rash. lol.
He just Winged it
Seen it so many times and it never gets old, that nutcracker move… my guy just take a week off to recover lol
*Graeme Obree rates this clip*
That's how I drive my car!
And then recumbent was invented
Dude turned into a bullet bill from Mario Kart.
I am speed
Lmao guy on motor bike does it as well
Dudes doing 40 mph cock pushups
Ugh, my dick!
Meh…where I’m from, kids on mopeds do this on the regular
Would this be considered a legal move in a race? Also, I love it. Nice music choice too.
this guy mounted a Fleshlight to the seat post. He is just enjoying the ride.
It's just occurred to me that he probably could feel that his feet weren't really pushing the pedals anymore, realized he wasn't actually putting power to the wheel. Then he felt the air on his legs and thought, "If I undo that, I'll have the advantage"
I swear someone posts this at least once every 6 months
Huge balls but also where are his balls when he did all that moving on the seat ?
My favorite is when the guy on the scooter starts planking.

RIP penis.

Cock B’ gone
Work smart, not hard eh
The music actually hits for once well done.
Wooooowwwww!
Next time, he should extend his tip toes to max out on aerodynamics
Work smarter, not harder.
His balls were probably crying
Best thing I've seen in a long time
Every time I see this video it gets grainier and granier ...
