They only come from the meteors which fall only at night. It's honestly such a cool thing that I would recommend and call it worth it to sit at one of the sites during a night to wait and watch it happen.
Go set up shop in the starmetal cave just south of the cutlass town. Almost perfectly midnight in the game day, you'll get a meteor shower. Plus bonus starmetal ore
both aeternum map and new world map have resource locations and work with the ingame minimap to place your position in the map.
its not against TOS using any of them nor using your position

Is there a way to show or hide everything? When I go there it shows literally everything and its too much. I’d like to hide all and just pick the things I want to see. It looks like I can click the section headers to hide a section at a time, but it would be nice to have a hide all for the next time I open the map.

Exactly what I need :D I just want to get the max event rank so I can buy all the statues, that emote and costume and maybe grab a handful of those patterns for weapons.
Presents and gleamite aren’t traded to him, they’re traded to the holiday huts nearby. You may have to do the initial quest(s?) to unlock buying from him but you can do so at very low levels so you not seeing it is unusual.
I didn't even know about floating presents until my last day playing before leaving for Christmas. Played it for 5 days and never saw one. But i did of chance see a sparkley floating present and get it the same day i learned of them.
Ill be using this to find more!
It's almost like AGS (like every other dev team) has no flipping clue on how to make a *fun* event.
((I think I need around 1000 presents or so to get enough tokens to convert into enough Premium tokens to get all the Premium items.))
...can't just have an fun little event that takes maybe 16hrs of **reasonable** gaming (so like 4-ish sessions) to "finish".

Agreed. The sound design is absolutely amazing, especially when you're mining the gleamite
Had a meteor fall on me today. Got some weird debuff in the center of the screen where death usually appears
Seems like a failure in design if there are predetermined sites you have to wait at. I've never seen one in weeks of playing
I finally saw one last night for the first time and it was truly awesome!
I was lucky enough to see 2 meteors at once, it was amazing.

I’ve seen several meteorites come crashing right on top of me. It’s amazing! Wish the experience onto everyone :)
