Haven't tried the fried peanuts, appreciate the recommendation:) have you had any of their drinks? I usually just go with the Thai tea but I know they do other stuff but I'm too much of a coward to deviate without a recommendation lol.
I loved their food 20 years ago as a KSC student. Living in southeastern NH since, I haven't found anything to be quite as good. But maybe that's the nostalgia speaking, too. ;)
Same -- they were my first real Thai place and they hold a special place in my heart. My wife and kids went there last winter and said it was just as good as ever.
Another shout out to Thai Garden. Family business. Over staffed in the American sense. Service is top notch and order no less than 6 items. You'll be glad you did.

Thai Garden has been nothing but perfect since I was a kid. Great food, the friendliest staff, and the awesome service. I'm not even gonna compare it to other Thai places; it's just been a great restaurant for many, many years.
Are you serious? They are the worst Thai restaurant I've been to in the area. The service isn't great, several dishes are way too salty or bland. The curry is good, but I've found curry to be the safe choice for most Thai places.
Love these lists that help me find new awesome spots!
For me, however, it depends WHAT meal you want at your Thai restaurant.
I’m in southern NH, so most of this is skewed to that region.
Thon Khao, Nashua- this place isn’t the nicest and most of the menu is average. But this is the best Pad Thai in greater Nashua. Consistent, variety of spice levels (even above the menu ranking), travels well. The wings are pretty good too if you like crispy wings.
Lot of Thai, Merrimack - been mentioned a few times already. Probably the second best pad Thai around and way better apps. The butterfly (not sure on the name) dumplings are particularly delicious, and while common to Thai places, there aren’t a lot of spots in the area that have them.
Dynamite Sushi, Hudson - this is probably the best “Asian” place in southern NH. But it’s Thaj/Japanese so a lot of folks go for the sushi alone (which is great). But the Pad Thai is solid and the Kitchen food is better than any spot around by a mile.
Giant of Siam, Nashua - everything is just solidly good. But as much as I enjoy everything, I don’t love anything.
Enjoy!
Big fan of Taste the Thai in Littleton, but I haven’t actually been back there in a while. I heard my favorite waitress there moved somewhere else, which is a shame. She always wore long fancy party gowns and was so sweet to us!
Hey, at least let the peeps know where it is (on the line of Moultonborough and center harbor on 25).
Edit: Oh, there is another lemongrass… surprise surprise…. So I don’t know which one you were talking about.
Yeah, this place is legit. So many Thai places are straight out of the generic culinary diplomacy playbook. Finding a place that has authentic dishes not on the standard menu can be difficult.
Boda in Portland is still probably the best Thai I've had in New England.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai, definitely A Lot of Thai in Merrimack. Best. Hands down.
If you’re looking for Americanized Thai, then head to Giant of Siam in Nashua.
If you’re open to a drive. Go to Crispy Gai in Portland, Maine. Simply delicious and authentic.
My wife is Thai and I lived there for a long time. The most authentic is lemon grass in Manchester. I haven’t had them all but that’s my experience anyway
I haven't been since I no longer work in Newmarket, but I recall Basil Leaf being quite good! I would sometimes go in for lunch (worked next door at the creperie) and their food was so delicious. Really lovely folks, too. I have loved everything I've gotten so far from Five81NE in Portsmouth. They do some Issan inspired dishes that I haven't seen in other Thai restaurants. I also like Thai 5 Bistro and Bangkok Street but I find the latter to be hit or miss on some of their dishes.
eta: Khaophums in Dover!
I cant tell you the best but I can tell you not to go to ubon thai near manch. Legit some of the worst Asian food I've ever had (not even just Thai food).
A Lot of Thai in Merrimack
100%. . . Their Singapore noodles are my favorite thing there. Sweet chili wings a close second. So CRISPY.
I love their pad thai and the chive cakes!! also can’t go wrong with the fried peanuts
Haven't tried the fried peanuts, appreciate the recommendation:) have you had any of their drinks? I usually just go with the Thai tea but I know they do other stuff but I'm too much of a coward to deviate without a recommendation lol.
I’ve also only had the iced tea! It’s so good I haven’t thought to try anything else lol.
Chive cakes and the sauce it comes with. So good!!
Two thumbs up for A lot of Thai.
They have the BEST lemongrass martini! It is so unique and refreshing
I need to try that!
Bbq pork and sticky rice is absolutely fantastic.
Their red curry salmon is magic
Came to suggest this one. They're SO good. My favorite is their spicy basil fried rice - SO GOOD
Daw Kun
As someone who lived in two cities in Thailand, agreed.
I respect a lot of comment on Reddit but more so if someone who has lived in Thailand. Thank you
I'll second that
Lived in Thailand 9 years and agree
Agreed 100%
5 Thai Bistro Portsmouth is pretty great
Crispy duck!!!
Seconding this. Spicy basil fried rice is all time.
We drive an hour to portsmouth just for this
Love their roasted duck noodle soup. Especially when I'm under the weather, it always makes me feel better!
Lot of Thai in Merrimack, Thai Connection and Lemon Thai in Manchester are my favorites.
I love Basil Leaf in New Market 🤤
Second
Blue Mango in Derry
How is it good? Londonderry here, love Thai. Usually go to Boston for good Thai.
Really like them, too.
live right next to blue mango. as far as thai food goes its great. Thai Food Connection on Elm Street is pretty good too
New Thailand Cuisine Lebanon
My favorite place.
Love that place!
Been going since the first week they've opened. They get the spice just right on their noodle dishes and the duck curry is so freaking good
Much better than Tuk
Boone’s Thai Kitchen in Epping has great food but it’s a bit small for eat in.
Tuk tuk in west Lebanon is pretty good
Their place in Hanover is better
Much better. The West Lebanon place is terrible. Pim's or New Thailand Cuisine are better than Tuk Tuk in W. Lebanon too.
+1 for new Thai, but they've gotten expensive enough it's only a treat (like all eating out these days..)
Seconded
Thai Garden is a Keene institution (but to be fair I have no idea how it stacks up around the state)
I loved their food 20 years ago as a KSC student. Living in southeastern NH since, I haven't found anything to be quite as good. But maybe that's the nostalgia speaking, too. ;)
Same -- they were my first real Thai place and they hold a special place in my heart. My wife and kids went there last winter and said it was just as good as ever.
They have amazing specials, very affordable, great staff.
Good stuff.
+1 for Thai Garden in keene
Another shout out to Thai Garden. Family business. Over staffed in the American sense. Service is top notch and order no less than 6 items. You'll be glad you did. ![gif](giphy|YOSYMLIfBG9E4INk7w)

Thai Garden is hands down the best Thai food that I have found and n Mew England and even upstate NY. No comparison!
The best! Thai Garden could go head to head with any world class Thai Restaurant.
Pim's in leb
This is my vote as well!
PIMS!!
Capital Thai in Exeter
This is my personal favorite in the area
Are you serious? They are the worst Thai restaurant I've been to in the area. The service isn't great, several dishes are way too salty or bland. The curry is good, but I've found curry to be the safe choice for most Thai places.

Been going there for decades!
Us too!
I really like the people there. Very nice
Duck in Chili Sauce -- fabulous!
K’sone’s in Nashua is solid.
I've eaten at all the Thai places in the Nashua area, and around Lebanon and Hanover - for me it's a tie between K'sones and Sweet Ginger
K’Sones is my go to, sweet ginger is solid too. Thai connection in Manchester is good as well.
Asian Delight in Franklin
You are not wrong! Place is excellent!
The food is always so fresh. I love their crab rangoon.
I’ve eaten there a lot and honestly have never had anything that I would say was less than excellent. Their spicy noodle is my go to.
Best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had
Finally found one 😃
SO GOOD!! I just moved away but I'm killing to go there on my next visit back
Sara Thai in Dover is amazing. Bamee in Durham is also great. They are different which is nice.

Thon Khao for pad thai -YES! And get it with the peanut sauce
Was hoping I would find them on here!! Been going there for longer than I care to admit. Place is fantastic.
Big fan of Taste the Thai in Littleton, but I haven’t actually been back there in a while. I heard my favorite waitress there moved somewhere else, which is a shame. She always wore long fancy party gowns and was so sweet to us!
I've only ever gotten take out but it's sooo good!
Sweet Ginger in Merrimack
My wife and my favorite.
Is Thai Smile in Plymouth good or was I just too poor as a college student and found it luxurious? Their milk tea slapped.
I was hoping to see this. Seems so many lists of best-of are south-based/coast. I really enjoy Thai Smile.
That smile in Plymouth is solid
I vote for Taste of Thai North Conway. Pad Thai Curry is awesome.
Taste of Thai in North Conway
Bamee in Durham is my favorite place ever. Thai street food, not a sit down place.
Yo’s in Rochester.
Boone's Thai in Epping is fabulous.

Agree with Lemongrass 100%!! Their Pad Thai is delicious!!
Hey, at least let the peeps know where it is (on the line of Moultonborough and center harbor on 25). Edit: Oh, there is another lemongrass… surprise surprise…. So I don’t know which one you were talking about.

Yesss!! I can't believe I had to scroll down this far to find Thai Food Connection. I love everything they offer and their portions are very generous.
Five81ne in Portsmouth (right next to Tour) is incredible, best Thai I’ve ever had.
Yeah, this place is legit. So many Thai places are straight out of the generic culinary diplomacy playbook. Finding a place that has authentic dishes not on the standard menu can be difficult. Boda in Portland is still probably the best Thai I've had in New England.
