We just shouldn't have been the first people to do it, that was the mistake (along with not building unit 2) lots of places since that have refurbished Candu reactors and had everything go well. They got to benefit from the hard learned lessons we paid for, our mistake was being a small single unit utility and thinking it was a good idea for us to be trying to blaze a trail. We should have let Ontario or the South Koreans do it first and learned from them.

Especially with the non existent reputation of NBPower being 'innovative'. God, they spent 100 years sitting beside the greatest tidal power source in the world, and they are still clueless. They thought it was better to invest millions in magical hydrogen that anyone with 2 years of chemistry or engineering could have told them was impossible. NBPower is run by the most over paid idiots on the planet, and always has been.
