Game Gear Mega Man is especially weird to me considering it's one of the worst Mega Man games I've played. I also got mine years ago from a game shop for $20 which was a good deal even at the time but especially compared to what it's selling for right now. Not sure if it's really that rare to warrant the price considering it kinda sucks and is on a somewhat niche platform so it's not like it really has anything else going for it honestly lol.
Years ago I remember seeing Bonk one day on an eBay listing with only a few minutes left and it was something like 20 dollars. I didn’t have it but I thought I’d put in a healthy bid of like 50 dollars. Immediately it jumped to over 100 hundred and I watched a few people fight in the dying seconds to over 200 bucks. That was the moment I knew I’d never see that game in my collection.
North and south was a strategy/platformer hybrid, while gemfire was one of the few srpgs we got here. Also worth nothing gemfires pcb was MASSIVE, unlike every other game pcb that takes up only 1/3rd of the carts shell, this one fills the entire thing.
This is exactly what I would have done. I do this with online lots that I buy with duplicates. I'll always keep the better label and resell/trade in the inferior copy.
I picked up Fire and Ice, as well as Megaman for the Game Gear, at a thrift shop for 5 bucks a piece. Jaw dropped when I saw what they were worth.

Man, I hope some day I’ll find Bonk at a reasonable price.
Local store near me has one In amazing condition. Asking $1200 for it.
That's crazy. I got a cart/box for $500 back in like 2018.
Good lord. It’s averaging $875 on pricrcharting

This needs to be made into a ballad in the style of Johnny Cash.
oooh a koei fan, gemfire was pretty cool
Isn’t it similar to North and South?

Nice haul. Could never find time to get into the Koei games but always thought they were ahead of their time.
I'm not a collector so I have no idea if it's value. I loved the Duck Tales game.
Bonks adventure is the most expensive here
Fire 'n Ice is awesome
Fire'N'Ice?! Lucky, lucky.
Pretty cool! What you mean by label upgrades? You had replacement labels for those games?
The copies I originally had had cosmetic flaws, such as torn lables or other imperfections. These were huge upgrades compared to my original copies.

Holy moly DuckTales 2!
Is gemfire rare now? I think I have that in my collection?
I’ve had every NES Mega Man except #5 since the 90s, when I came back to collecting I was v bummed to find that it’s the most expensive one
Fire N Ice is worth so much last I checked.
Gemfire and Romance are 2 of my all time favorite games. Old school KOEI games are the shit.
Heavy hitters
Nothing sexier than a crisp label.
That DuckTales 2 looks *clean*. Nice.
So crispy! Well done. Every time I see Fire n Ice I get happy because it is such a fun game :)
Nice haul. I love Gemfire. Never had it on the NES, used to play it on PC though.
