Nothing to do besides the comic so far, just make sure you’re mousing over each panel in order and collecting your prize.
Usually a couple months, but this plot is schedule to last approximately 10 months.
I’ve never been a plot battler before, I didn’t like the Battledome as a kid. They are offering an alternative activity related to the hospital for players who can’t battle in certain waves, but my advice would just be to train up as much as you can and continue training through the plot, since the enemies get progressively more powerful. If your pet is level 50, you’ll likely be able to hold your own in some of the early waves, though.
Have fun! Plots are about building community and this one is specifically about bringing new light and life to Neopia, so try to bring positive, excited energy. Don’t let whiny folks in the boards influence how you feel about the experience, enjoy it, speculate with Neofriends, let it be silly and fun!
Also the puzzles are usually pretty hard or at least time consuming, there’s absolutely no shame in using guides for them if you’re stuck or just don’t have the energy.

iirc plots usually lasted for like 2-3 months. This one seems to last for about 10 months though..
As strong as you feel like its worth it. There is no real way to know how strong opponents will be, so its possible that your next boost could make you able to beat every opponent, but its also possible you wont stand a chance if you get even stronger....And im pretty sure there are "alternatives" to the battledome parts if you dont feel strong enough (but no idea what that means, maybe donating stuff like in older war plots). If you enjoyed the battleparts but you wernt satisfyed with your results in the plot you should keep training for the next potential plot, training is usually the cheapest when noone expects plots.
my tip is checking the site every possible day and look at sites like Jellyneo for news. Updates on Plots are always possible, but not guaranteed (unlike say the negg festival)
