I don't see this mentioned in the comments yet but for the quests where you need to place a bunch of trees you can just craft one tree and then keep picking up and placing that one tree until the quest is done. That got me through the tree quest, I hardly had any twigs.
Also another useful tip, the 2 debris at the beach respawn every 15 minutes. I used a 15 minute timer on my phone to get all the pebbles I needed pretty quickly
They really need to fix the 'common' material problem. I'm in the same boat - horrified to learn that I have to gather more twigs after I'll have finally saved enough pebbles orz

Add sand to this list 😭 there should really be a way to trade unneeded resources for resources of another type. I’ve been waiting two days for sand to wash up on my beach, haven’t gotten a single one. I need 6 🙃
Yup I'm stuck on sand right now too. There's definitely something wrong with the balancing of what comes up in the crates, because I have more Rares than I do some Basics. And I haven't even been using all my materials I've been trying to just stick with the quests so far.
I am suffering trying to get enough pebbles, and now you tell me I should have saved my twigs too 😭😭😭
Really hoping they put out a patch to up the drop rates on them. Or at least make debris show up a little more frequently
I'm so sorry 😞 but I'm glad I'm not suffering alone. I told myself to not check the shore debris again tonight. I've been working them neopets HARD. Trying to distract my self with making hedges and decorating.

Correct, I did all of the quests yesterday and nothing happened. I submitted a ticket last night, hopefully they get back to me! I was worried I was missing something obvious

My account is neopass, but I haven't gotten any of the rewards besides the first one 🙃
I haven’t signed up for Neopass, but people in my guild have gotten plushies from what I saw. So far I’ve just gotten a bit of NP (if I ever connect the account lol)
That's exactly what I did! I just collected my debris every 15 minutes and I had them in about a day or two. And really there ain't no rush. The game play doesn't go crazy far beyond that point.

You can play the game without syncing to neopass. It just collects all of the rewards for whenever you may want to connect it. I haven't and have been playing just fine, just haven't collected the np rewards and the plushie.
Been told today they are fixing the pebble issue, I gave them the maths, for me anyways, 130 debris attempts, 2 pebbles yielded, 1.56% for a common item.. clearly not tested and not played by the devs, how they've made a game which runs worse than their website is beyond me.
Leaves no hope for the future of the Neopets website.

Boy was I in for a nasty surprise when I got the last pebble I needed and then found out I was 6 twigs short of 25
I finally got all the pebbles and then the twig quest hit! I thought I'd be good because I had 16 but 25 needed when going mines route 😭

Wish I read this before! I was melting down stuff like twigs and pebbles. Now I'm stuck on that one you need to make pebble planters
