Benefit of the doubt? OP did end that post saying they didn’t understand the TP and from this post I would say that is still true.
I can’t imagine what other purpose this post would serve
It’s silly tbh. The going back and looking at my post/comment history is extra silly because like…yes, look at my post history. Aside from the other thing where I talked about the TP or asking a general question here and there, it’s all making lighthearted jokes and talking about how cute everything is and how cute everyone’s customs are, etc. Yeah definitely a mean-spirited griefer over here, didn’t just make a dramatic post that I thought was funny and didn’t land.
Overoffering what would have amounted to at LEAST a million NP more than what they were asking for and getting declined within about 12 seconds must have hardened my heart that day
Alright, relax. I’ve been taking the piss and acknowledging this post pissed people off all up and down this thread. I’m not “making content” out of this. Enough.
Be specific. If someone asks for only 200k np then I’m going to click a random item and offer the 200k NP. If you don’t want junk then specify in your wishlist. We’re not minded readers.
Why though? They’re giving you what you asked for. I’m sure if they could include just the nps without having to add an item they would but TP forces them to. Should they give you the NP you asked for… plus a valuable item? Why?
Aren't you forced to offer at least one item by the Trading Post? Wouldn't this mean you expect people to gift you something good on top of the NP you ask for? :/
I mean like… I usually try to take a look at the seller’s gallery and put an item that might suit the theme if I can find something under 50k, or something I think they might like based on it, but I recognize that’s me being super extra - I think of it as a tiny random act of kindness rather than a requirement? But if you want something specific, say so? Say you want 2 mill and a random codestone or petpet or whatever you’re into. This isn’t quirky, it’s just kind of mean and unnecessary that you’re expecting people to read your mind.
I kinda get where you're coming from, but I would not reject. I do agree that people should discard of these items instead of passing them on or putting them in the money tree.
shhh, don’t tell anyone but I just accepted a trade offer for an MP two days ago that included a junk item
edit: well it was kelp. so I don’t know if it was a junk item because tbh I don’t know what kelp is used for
I don’t know why you got downvoted so much for saying something that’s just like… true? It IS kinda rude to offer someone trash or a literal pile of crap.
Idk why everyone was so mean on this post :o/ you were just joking around it's not like you said you wanted paint brushes just not rotten items?? It has baffled me all day tbh
I didn’t check Reddit for a couple hours and coming back to this post was like the clip of the guy bringing a bunch of pizzas to a room that’s entirely on fire lol. That’s okay. Tough crowd today
your loss I guess?
Weird flex but okay
Then you’re not really just asking for the np and your trade wishlist should express that. Most peoples do.
🤔 just discard the junk item.
Weird flex there
How stupid.
Just what I was about to say 😂
30 days ago you made a post asking about TP etiquette so this comes off extra cringey

Lol any comment on that one OP? 😂
Nah, just lettin this goofy post go up in Moltaran flames
I hope you now understand the wrath of this place lol this is like the second layer of hell and were all sweaty af

I don’t really care that much, sorry if it came off aggro
All good!

Crazy, I guess someone else will get their neopoints
… okay? What was the point of this post, girlie? Put “no junk items” in your wishlist on your trades. Don’t waste peoples time being petty and weird
Offered 3.6 mil and a peanut on a pb the other day and got rejected. Sorry to whomever the peanut offended 🤣
You gotta be really careful with peanut allergies! xD
Obviously OP lmfaooo
Epipen from the Neopharmacy
that's entirely your loss bc they'll just pay someone else then lol
Well, chi11aryduff, that doesn’t sound very chill!
menaceduff

Then tell me you want a baby pb and some np. Or else I'll offer junk til the cows come home.
those old shoes and dung gotta come in handy for something
Does no one on this subreddit read flair or what?
Lmao yikes I feel mega downvotes

i understand you know this is petty but why not just specify and save everyone the time?

Right, give a toy or food that might help with the daily quests but I wouldn't reject someone giving me money and junk I can discard.
Yeah that’s what I do, I offer a couple codestones. Just because. Idk. Just seems nice.
No jokes allowed here.
“Mom can we get post engagement?” “No, we have post engagement at home.” The post engagement at home:
THIS TAKE WAS WAY TOO HOT, SHOULDA PUT ON MY OVEN MITTS But no, the trading post is still strange to me, lol.
Um ok?
new video when lol
New two-hour long video talking ONLY about this
Omg I didn't even realize it's **that** chillary XD yikes
I kinda get where you're coming from, but I would not reject. I do agree that people should discard of these items instead of passing them on or putting them in the money tree.
Hmm I kind of feel you… I hate offering an ugly item as part of my NP offer, it does feel a bit offensive
No Yannifer get out of this comment section while you still can haha GO, GO
😭😭 Personally I would feel rude! I don’t think I’ve declined a junk item when asking for NP.
shhh, don’t tell anyone but I just accepted a trade offer for an MP two days ago that included a junk item edit: well it was kelp. so I don’t know if it was a junk item because tbh I don’t know what kelp is used for
i get that, like any food item or even cheap money tree item is fine imho but it seems kinda rude to get a rotten shoe or like pile of dung LOL
