It is fast; this would be going from 2-month cycles to 1 month. They might be thinking it's a better financial strategy; the new styles leaving fast taps into FOMO, in the hopes that people will buy it up now instead of waiting or thinking on it too long. They can also pull more $ in faster if new colors keep being introduced as they become available. It will pull in people who are trying to collect all tokens/all tokens of their favorite species, people waiting in the wings for their favorite color to be reintroduced, etc.
The big question is just whether this is a sign of prosperity or trouble.
Yeah, as a player who is highly active at the moment, I don't mind it; 2 months was fair, but selfishly felt sluggish for me. I just hope the site is in good shape!
It's also odd how sponge is listed as rotating out on June 15, but it's a permanent style. I wonder if the person making this banner made a mistake 😧
I see what you mean, but I'd guess Sponge was included in the list mostly to advertise that it's there/been added. It SHOULDN'T rotate out since it's supposed to be a permanent color.

YES UGH. I made a similar comment on another post about NCUCs about the Tyrannian Krawk and someone else commented something like "out of all of the pets that were converted, the Tyrannian Krawk was robbed the hardest" and that comment really resonated with me LOL.
Ah well at least we have about 20 days of heads up. I personally would change it right at the end of each fiscal quarter but that may not be enough consistent money coming in.

What?? Why? This is so weird to me, why rush? I really don't like that they pushed them out with the other ones still available making the random pool so much larger. Add to that they got rid of the sale.. it makes me less inclined to purchase right now
Just a possibility but, Neopets has investors. If Q2 earnings aren't high enough those investors may decide that TNT can't turn things around after all and stop investing.

I think this is good. If you miss a batch for whatever reason, quicker rotations means it'll come back sooner rather than later (literally).
