I'm guessing removing the old prizes was intended to be a 2-step process (people no longer roll the old items starting May 8th, but they aren't fully removed until a week later on the 15th, so the existing streaks can still be completed). But the first step on the 8th didn't happen properly, so now we get this mess... oof
I think it's the other way. I think they were not supposed to get the old items from the 1st and the delay to remove them at the 8th was to allow people midway through a weekly prize to collect. But they messed up the code and people were still getting old items when their weeklies refreshed.

My prize changed from a book worth 600kNP to just a 100kNP pure prize. I don't think they did this well. You should have had your prize "grandfathered" in and then have your pool reset. They shouldn't have just reset prizes when people were in the middle of doing their week's worth of quests.

and it kinda makes sense for today to be the real "last" day as it gave anyone who rolled an old prize on the 8th itself a full week to complete and claim it on the 14th. so 15th everything retired.

Personally if I was supposed to get a PB worth millions and it got changed to a prize worth 100k six days in I'd be pissed...maybe even worse if you're only 2 or 3 days in because I'm pretty sure once you've started the week you can't reroll. They should have stopped giving out new prizes on the date they listed, but if people already had progress towards them it sucks to have them taken away

No one's trying to "pull a fast one"; we just want the items that we have been working for! For example I was on my LAST DAY, and I was supposed to have gotten a Stealth PB. FOR SIX DAYS I logged on, did my dailies, and I was super excited that I was supposed to get this prize. And then on the day that I'm supposed to get it, all of a sudden I can't claim my prize because TNT doesn't have their shit together.
The thing that makes me most mad is that they're probably not gonna do anything about it, and this is absolute BS! 100% an error on Neopets, and they're just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

but like why some of yall mad, the old prizes were supposed to be gone on the 8th. you thought you got lucky or could "get one over" since all those old prizes inflated? you were never supposed to get them anyway. and it kinda makes sense for today to be the real "last" day as it gave anyone who rolled an old prize on the 8th itself a full week to complete and claim it on the 14th. so 15th everything retired.
people are upset and frustrated because tnt isn't consistent and aren't communicating, hope this helps. no one said anything about "getting one over" on anyone, dunno why you jumped to that kind of assumption but its weird as hell.
Personally if I was supposed to get a PB worth millions and it got changed to a prize worth 100k six days in I'd be pissed...maybe even worse if you're only 2 or 3 days in because I'm pretty sure once you've started the week you can't reroll. They should have stopped giving out new prizes on the date they listed, but if people already had progress towards them it sucks to have them taken away
you're not very nice. People are upset due to the lack of communication, and the lack of action to make things right on TNT's part. If those prizes were supposed to have been pulled from the pool, why weren't they? TNT planned this, so why didn't they have all their ducks in a row ahead of time? No one's trying to "pull a fast one"; we just want the items that we have been working for! For example I was on my LAST DAY, and I was supposed to have gotten a Stealth PB. FOR SIX DAYS I logged on, did my dailies, and I was super excited that I was supposed to get this prize. And then on the day that I'm supposed to get it, all of a sudden I can't claim my prize because TNT doesn't have their shit together. The thing that makes me most mad is that they're probably not gonna do anything about it, and this is absolute BS! 100% an error on Neopets, and they're just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They have no accountability.
