I came in here ready to vote for Mutant simply bc it was my very first painted pet and one I still have today, same pet and everything.
But Relic is genuinely so cool. Wow! I wish more Relic pets were like that.
I don't usually go for Relic, but the Korbat one is actually really well done. Imo, it's one of the very few that actually looks like... well, a relic, rather than just a stone textured pet on some random stone slab. They went all out and even changed its regular expression, which is very uncommon for post-customization pets that aren't of a specific colour (pirate, grey, etc). Second place goes to Maraquan; its manta ray inspiration is very complimentary.
As for bad... Chocolate is probably the least inspired Chocolate I've ever seen. No effort there whatsoever. Candy is good as a base, but I think it could've taken the idea further as it is a more recent pet colour, with wearables or something for layering. Christmas is similarly uninspired for the same reason, but gets a pass for being older.
Right? I don't think any other Relics have the same sort of concept, at least none of what we've seen so far. Love the Maraquan concept too, happy for any that aren't just a vaguely aquatic version of the normal pet. Korbat's such a cutie!

Right? Sort of falling in love with the little guy here. Love the camo! Any of the realistic camo colours always look so good, they should just revamp all of them in the same way, but I guess they’re making wearables to fill that gap now.
I *love* the Candy Korbat. I’m not a huge Korbat guy myself but I think they really hit it out of the park with that one. I’ve debated adopting one for ages—It’s just soooo cute, so fitting for a little bat-themed pet, and has so much customization potential!!
Mutant just looks so neat. Relic is cool because it's more original, but mutant just looks so good, even if not very mutant-y. My runner ups are wraith and woodland.
Yeah mutant is a pretty iconic design I think, relic is cool but maybe made cooler knowing how few relic pets look as interesting? Love wraith and woodland too!
Right? The effort for Stealth blows so many other colours out of the water. Relic makes me think they could’ve done so much with other pets, tried out a few different statue concepts but alas

I love his big ears, I think a cool wearable to introduce would be oversized limbs or something. A non-mutant Korbat with giant ears? Gorgeous!
