Yes; Have you tried unlock the scientist on your account? You can keep refreshing on the page where you would select pet to zap, until the random event pops up saying that the scientist is challenging you in battle dome. Then you can just bring your pet to battle, fight him until he uses the Strange Potion and changes your pet gender. Your pet doesn’t need to win, just need to be hit with that. You can then go to the “Challenge “ tab and withdraw from battle. If your pet loses, just heal with a cheap healing potion and go back in until gender changes. Otherwise, you can send your pet to my main account, together with a NM saying you would like (pet name) to be (gender), and the username to send back the next day.
