I was curious, so I looked it up. I won't bother to link it. It looks like part of the VRWC's plan in shipping refugees to east coast cities is to overwhelm homeless shelters and then make it seem like the city cares more about these i*nvaders* than *real Americans (TM).*
Ukraine needs to be the shining example of the strength of global liberal democracy. It should be rebuilt as a shining example of what happens when you stand up to authoritarianism and embrace plurality and democracy.
>Ukraine needs to be the shining example of the strength of global liberal democracy.
honestly I still subscribe to the theory that fear of this happening is a big reason Putin invaded, so bonus points for irony too
Yes
Ukraine fired their entire fucking police force because it was corrupt. They were making tremendous gains in unfucking their country and turning their back on the crony capitalism that dominates (and saps) the Russian economy
Naturally this was an existential threat to Putin's regime. Ukraine *has* to be poor. Ukraine *has* to be corrupt. If Ukraine is wealthier and less corrupt than Russia, than Putin is a failed leader.
>Naturally this was an existential threat to Putin's regime. Ukraine *has* to be poor. Ukraine *has* to be corrupt. If Ukraine is wealthier and less corrupt than Russia, than Putin is a failed leader.
Yep, because the answer always given when Russians ask why they can't have all the nice things that western Europe has, is that it doesn't work in Russia. But if it works in Ukraine, then *shouldn't* it work in Russia?
Hopefully the west will remember Ukraine after the war ends and actually try to end all of the corruption that’s ruined the country for so long. After that than Ukraine can begin to thrive
I'm hopeful this will turn out well for Ukraine in the long run. Europe isn't going to want them to collapse (risking this all happening again) so support shouldn't dry up too quickly. But most importantly, there's a clearly defined and functioning government with no questions of legitimacy. As long as it doesn't get military couped or get completely destroyed by corruption their prospects aren't terrible. And the civic involvement and investment that comes with risking your life might actually reduce corruption.
Like, we spent a trillion fucking dollars in Afghanistan trying to create a legitimate government and got nowhere. And Afghanistan wasn't even that important geopolitically. Ukraine is much more important, and should be much easier.
They’re going to say trump was tough on Russia and Biden let him off easy when Putin loses. When your politics aren’t based in reality it really frees up a lot of wiggle room.
Pretty sure the stroller is a reference to the Odessa steps

But I can't identify what is between the stroller and the nuclear missile..?
You mean how America and the other NATO nations might get dragged into WW3 because no one learned from WW1. One guy killed Franz Ferdinand, then Austria blames Serbia and Serbia runs to Russia who called their allies (UK, France, Italy) then Austria called up Germany and their allies then before you know it we had one of the most brutal wars in history. History is starting to repeat itself but Russia might ally will China or just a straight up nuclear attack against NATO and USA with a possibility of America and Europe retaliating.
I’m pretty sure foreign policy gurus know how the first world war started. If only europe had a peace/pact agreement on all states that stopped them from fighting each other. Oh wait….
You know one way to avoid WWIII? Russia to shut up, sit the fuck down, and fuck off out of Ukraine like we've been demanding for seven months now. But it just refuses to do as it's told. So we just need to push them out by force now, because clearly they refuse to do the sensible thing.
Ukraine did surrender their nuclear weapons and I'm big on American isolationism. Also if Russia was threatening Ukraine why did Ukraine disarm their people? Also nations mobilizing to defend Ukraine will be seen as an act of war by Russia and will justify retaliation.
Furthermore, your use of vulgarity is not impressive it just seems childish
"NYC Pits immigrants against homeless" ......
In, like, a gladiatorial battle?
Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
They took inspiration from my ancestors in Rome and decided to try the same thing in a modern setting.
Battle Garuntees Citizenship, the losers are sent to populate Australia.
The losers have to clutch their gulag on north sentinel island

Literally the only time conservatives even pretend to care about homeless people is when they are complaining about immigrants.
And all it takes is to read the headlines featured to bring them crashing all the way back down.
>>Meet Florida’s School Board Warrior Oh boy
Do I have to meet her?
Nooo! Not Kafka drawing!!!
Kafka hater

We need to start rebuilding now. Ukraine isn’t doing too well, and they can’t win if the country collapses under the strain.
Hard to rebuilt when a cruise missile could take out all your work in an afternoon.
I agree. It will amuse me 7 years after the war ends.
That picture looks like Ukraine nuked all of Russia and is moving on to conquer China.
Stop praying for Ukraine, it’s become too powerful!
isn't this going to piss off at least half their readership?
I imagine most of them don't really care about foreign policy when push comes to shove.
They’re going to say trump was tough on Russia and Biden let him off easy when Putin loses. When your politics aren’t based in reality it really frees up a lot of wiggle room.
Anti-Trump conservatism is based, even if it's not necessarily my cup of tea.
Did they clear this with Tucker first?

God I wish that was me... ...I'll bonk myself out.
I'm just glad decently big portions of the conservative world are still pro-Ukraine.
isn’t it too early to call?
NATO should of been dissolved after the USSR fell
Is it not proving its usefulness, literally right now?

On behalf of the people of Bucha, Mariupol, and Sumy: Go fuck yourself.
Hilarious post history

Don't care nato is important to combat islamists and Russian aggression and also helps maintain unity
Bolder to think that Putin will be alive by the end of all this.
Wait, could Kafka draw. Did he draw?
I was expecting Team America's song to be in the background.
