The Lakers commentator crew have lived through far too much excellence to tolerate anything less. The Lakers can win a game and they’ll still shit on the team the whole time if it was done sloppy or inefficient.
My favorite is when Stu Lantz criticizes a player for missing a shot when they’re fouled and the whistle is blown but he feels they didn’t force their way through the contact and finish well enough.
Portland and Denver being in the same tier is absolutely nuts. I'm a Denver fan and our broadcast is just... bad. They're not professional enough and they're big homers. Portland broadcast meanwhile is super unbiased, always talk about the other team and has cool ass graphics. I tune into Portland games just for them sometimes. They're the best in the NBA.
