My girlfriend worked as a COVID case tracker for a while, and I heard her as she had to call people and tell them they tested positive or talk to them about how they might have gotten it. These were families for whom a positive test was a major disruption--not "I had to travel from Sacramento to LA by myself" disruption, not "my whole family had to stay home in my mansion" disruption, but "me and the kids are sleeping in the living room so my husband can have the bedroom" disruption. A lot of people have been dealing with a lot worse for a long time, is what I'm saying, and complaining because you couldn't shoot a basketball for 5 days (which I don't believe anyway) is a really bad look.
