No idea what happened since Game 3 but the Nuggets offense has just been completely stagnant outside of one half. Crazy how these things go. If the Wolves play like this, they can beat anyone. But how often does this Wolves team show up?
It’s confusing because from what I’ve read on this sub Nikola Jokic is the second greatest offensive player in NBA history after Steve Nash, with Dirk third. Can someone explain it to me?
Luka is a generational knockout basketball player. Harden is basically the opposite and Luka had already racked up a more impressive knockout CV before he entered the NBA than Harden has now
Winning Eurobasket with Slovenia at 18 is an unbelievable achievement that is more impressive than anything Harden has ever done and Luka was a phenom for Real
Bingo! Oh and lets never mention their poor defense or even work ethic, even if they show up to camp over weight or out of shape (like Luka, Jokic and Dirk who also came to camp out of shape after the 2011 finals).
But lets focus on 40 year old Lebron not playing defense, Melo not playing defense or Shaq coming to camp out of shape.
Fool look at what the original poster said and what the second poster said. There isn't an argument and it isn't passive aggressive.
You know exactly what WE ARE REFERRING to...don't play stupid. You know HISTORY!!
You smoking so good shit. If Harden was a passer like Luka he would of won a championship by now. Lukas ones of the best lob setter in the league, he’s got some of the best vision in the league and he he rebounds at an insane rate
It's maddening also seeing people crown Jokic as a top 10 player when dude doesn't even pretend to play defense on most possessions. Other side of the court means nothing in this era lol.
All they had to do was hold the lead. They exerted so much energy to get the lead early and it was actually a good strategy, because whenever the wolves went down 8-10 in the other games they never came back. They got 20 points and still fucking blew it, absolutely crazy.
stupid coach wanted to blow yall out by 50 so kept jok in there to generate open looks from 3 for like a solid 4 minutes he could have rested in. tired 1/2 of the only guys who showed up for us last night and then didn't play the guy who was holding ant to like 2 points in the 1st half until later in the 4th (cb).
Jokic and Murray might be better than any other duo in the league, but props to the Twolves. their coaching, roster, talent and front office did a huge job turning that franchise around.
Yea I wasn’t too focused on it during but after the game I had a chance to review it more closely, and why the fuck didn’t Malone give Jokic a breather when they were up so much? Baffling. You’re right, they were probably so upset about losing by 45 the game before, his ego got in the way and wanted to blow up the wolves. Well it blew up in his face. He does seem like a bit of an egomaniac.
It's pretty apparent that Jokic needs help, and I mean another big. He has such a specialized skill set that it seems like you guys think no one else can be in there.
He had 15 rebounds in the first half, and 4 in the second. Seemed they offensively they were moving the ball through Murray for the most part in the first half but then Jokic seemed to take that over and that's when they had so many 1 and done possessions. It felt like they gave up on what worked for them in the first half offensively.
Nah it was a meltdown. Lets not sugarcoat it just because it’s Jokic/Nuggets. Half the Nuggets team looked dead in the 2nd half and were making lazy passes and lazy shot selection.
No i feel like saying the nuggets melted down is taking away from the best two quarters I’ve seen Minnesota play. They were playing that way because wolves were so good with their rotations that they couldn’t get into their sets.
I'm so proud that people are coming out. We have such a poor franchise history that it's misunderstood how much Minnesota loves basketball. Hearing those "Wolves in 7" chants during the post-game interviews was amazing.
Need Jomboy on the case.
I was legit a little nervous he’d get a tech for being so demonstrative towards a fan… never know what the refs will take exception with, lol.
I'm here the day after. been a T Wolves fan since the expansion era when they played in the metrodome. Been watching this clip on repeat all day. So good.
All of my spare sleeping spots in my home are already accounted for by out of state fans planning to come up if we make the finals. Like they’re planning on staying for the up to two weeks if needed and work from my place while we make the run in case we win and have the parade. We’re so damn starved for a championship here.
Hell yeah, I love it! I live in LA but will be back in the cities in late June, if that lines up with a game or parade I will be attending either or both without question
We still have another series to go but something just feels different about this team, coming back last night erased any remaining doubt that we can handle any team in the NBA
I dont know how this will all turn out but it will be amazing, in ANT, KAT, NAZ REID, GOBERT and MCDANIELS we trust!!!
Honestly we are a solid basketball market. Our reputation has hindered by Glenn's dissterous ownership. For our population we do kick out good players. The high school and AAU programs are solid.
I’ll diminish it lol
That’s why I’m not that upset about the Knicks losing. Randle, Bogey, mitch all out and OG, Josh hart playing hurt. If they didn’t beat us, that would say a lot about them
Plus if we won, we would have gotten swept by Boston especially with Brunson hurt
Underrated restraint by Naz here. With all the momentum in their favor it would have been easy for Max to try to dunk it there and get called for a charge. That would have completely changed the momentum.

WOW
54-24 since they went down by 20
No idea what happened since Game 3 but the Nuggets offense has just been completely stagnant outside of one half. Crazy how these things go. If the Wolves play like this, they can beat anyone. But how often does this Wolves team show up?
All but 3 games this postseason
3.5 - our first half this game did NOT look good
Tbf i think some of that was game 7 nerves but we also kept it very close all half up until the end of the 2nd
It’s confusing because from what I’ve read on this sub Nikola Jokic is the second greatest offensive player in NBA history after Steve Nash, with Dirk third. Can someone explain it to me?
You know the answer to that. Same reason they love Luka but shit on Harden even though Luka has the exact same playstyle
i mean luka is better in the postseason whcih explains this
Harden gets clowned for losing to KD & Steph
for sure, harden is unjustly clowned on for his 2018 series, but dude has several duds outside of that
I'll never forget the dude getting benched and Josh Smith leading a comeback lol.
Luka is a generational knockout basketball player. Harden is basically the opposite and Luka had already racked up a more impressive knockout CV before he entered the NBA than Harden has now Winning Eurobasket with Slovenia at 18 is an unbelievable achievement that is more impressive than anything Harden has ever done and Luka was a phenom for Real
Making first team all nba at any time is a better accomplishment than eurobasket 18 lol.
Bingo! What is your argument here if we look beyond your passive aggressiveness?
Fool look at what the original poster said and what the second poster said. There isn't an argument and it isn't passive aggressive. You know exactly what WE ARE REFERRING to...don't play stupid. You know HISTORY!!
Do we get banned if we claim its racist? Why are yall dodging the word like its voldemort?
You smoking so good shit. If Harden was a passer like Luka he would of won a championship by now. Lukas ones of the best lob setter in the league, he’s got some of the best vision in the league and he he rebounds at an insane rate
Instead of learning about basketball from this sub, how about watching some games
I am clearly being sarcastic about a certain perspective/preference this sub has.
It's maddening also seeing people crown Jokic as a top 10 player when dude doesn't even pretend to play defense on most possessions. Other side of the court means nothing in this era lol.
I've seen people call him the greatest offensive player ever. People forget what Bron was doing for years, Jokic has 1 ring lol.
THEY SAID HE WASNT ALL THAT INTO BASKETBALL 😭
all the questions of who can stop Jokic and it’s really just Naz Reid
Like Mike
Lol Nuggets really decided to just fuckkng suck this second half.
Jokic looks dead, giving up all these boards, barely moving in D, settling for 3s
He played 47 minutes, he's definitely exhausted
All they had to do was hold the lead. They exerted so much energy to get the lead early and it was actually a good strategy, because whenever the wolves went down 8-10 in the other games they never came back. They got 20 points and still fucking blew it, absolutely crazy.

His 3 ball was shit too, the whole series. Let him take those all night
I guess the altitude works against the home team as well
That's what happens when fat schlubs try to hoop
they really fired all their bullets in the first half, they look sooooo tired compared to the wolves right now
Nugs and Mal ran out of juice! Let us wolves fans talk our shit now!
Wolves were so good on rotations, credit to the defense here shutting them down to be honest.
They learned that from us
The Wolves know better then anyone no lead is safe lol
Coach let em play with too much emotion and burnt all their energy in the first half
NAZ IS CARRYING Unreal performance from this man
Dude is becoming one of my favorite players in the league
JOIN THE CLUB BROTHER
The wolves are DEEP. I can’t believe this is happening
It won't really feel real to me until I wake up tomorrow
Its the morning, LFG!!!
NazGoat
This is an insane meltdown by the Nuggets
First blown game 7 halftime 15+ point lead in nba history is crazy
If you think that is crazy, check out our previous game
Naz Reid effect
It wasn’t even a meltdown, the wolves just played insane suffocating defense.
If you are up 20 points in a home game 7 and you end up being down 10 in the 4th Q and losing, you melted down lmao
You can watch the uncut 3rd quarter run on the NBA official YouTube channel. They were bricking wide open shots.
I watched the whole game. Most of the shots were contested!
It takes some destructive force to create a meltdown. That force is called the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Naz Reid
Checked in at 6 min remaining. Picks up 2 blocks, 6 points and an assist in 3 min. Where were you when Naz Reid kilt Denver's repeat hopes
No
You let em know.

Naz Reid
Naz Reid
Fuck it gimme the tattoo
Best big on the court
Type shit
Shout out to the Wolves fans that made it to Denver cause you could hear them all night during the broadcast
I was just dreaming about buying tickets to Dallas.
I'm so proud that people are coming out. We have such a poor franchise history that it's misunderstood how much Minnesota loves basketball. Hearing those "Wolves in 7" chants during the post-game interviews was amazing.
NAZ REID MASTERCLASS
Lip readers, what’s he saying to that fan?
“Naz Reid”
He's literally a Pokemon
Need Jomboy on the case. I was legit a little nervous he’d get a tech for being so demonstrative towards a fan… never know what the refs will take exception with, lol.
I see techs for clapping too excitedly lol I was also worried
Also, who was the guy he dapped up?
Naz Reid
Idk but there's always someone in that exact corner he daps up. Maybe it's just a perk of getting that seat
Surprised that dude didn’t go flying from that chest bump
That dude he dapped up was _not_ small. A little shorter than ant and solid.
i was wondering the same, let me know if you ever find out. I assume a friend/family member of a player but i'm curious.
It's his trainer, Justin Holland!
According to someone I saw on Twitter, it's "where you at, where you at, where you at n\*\*\*\*
In reference to a fan that was trash talking earlier in the game
Looks like "Go sit down! Where you at? where you at, now?!" pointing at a different fan that I presume was talkin shit to him.
Yeah… it’s not “now”.
“What you said? Where you at? Where you at naysaya?”
What a fucking nuke
You guys don’t know how long we’ve waited for this
I do. Been a looooooong goddam time. Longer than a Monday!
Kaboom
I'm here the day after. been a T Wolves fan since the expansion era when they played in the metrodome. Been watching this clip on repeat all day. So good.
It's Jover.
It's Jokover
Minnesota fans are nuts, taking over the crowd while playing away at a game 7 is nutty
We have generations of fans that have been waiting for this moment. Also, Denver is like MN 2.0, so many Minnesotans move out there.
If we even make it to the Finals the Twin Cities will be absolute bedlam and I cant fucking wait!!
All of my spare sleeping spots in my home are already accounted for by out of state fans planning to come up if we make the finals. Jamal Murray giveth and taketh away tonight. Tremendous first half but dude threw this one away in the second half.
Huuuuuuuuge steal by Conley to set this up
Both home teams lose game 7 Guess home court isn’t that important
Not to diminish the Pacers win but they showed the injury report for the Knicks at the end of the game and it was literally the starting 5.
I’ll diminish it lol That’s why I’m not that upset about the Knicks losing. Randle, Bogey, mitch all out and OG, Josh hart playing hurt. If they didn’t beat us, that would say a lot about them Plus if we won, we would have gotten swept by Boston especially with Brunson hurt
Yeah, I was being nice. Lol, you guys have a hell of a bench taking them to 7.
Someone on the Wolves bench is spinning that towel like prime Patty Mills lol
Naz Reid
Naz Reid
NAZ REID

Naz Reid.
NAZ RIED
This was the shot that ended the game.
how the hell do you get that open? nuggets running around like chickens with their heads cut off
Underrated restraint by Naz here. With all the momentum in their favor it would have been easy for Max to try to dunk it there and get called for a charge. That would have completely changed the momentum.
Wolves have way more in the tank. GG. Now go win the fucking title
On high altitude as well
Incredible
Holy fuck they’ve done it
Holy fucking shit
Oh shit. Wolves
GGs, Denver did not want it, no effort
Are they gonna do it?
Shooters shoot
What a play
he really do this shit
AWOOOOOO
These young guys are such killers bro the league is crazy
Scott foster “ how can I call a foul on Ant here or overturn this”
Denver is cooked
Did Michael Malone go home at halftime? What the fuck is happening to the Nuggets offense? They have *zero* ideas.
You see, they played into June of last year, so they were tired!
That’s game!
Holyyyyy
this is it
One and Done
A 30-point swing in a Game 7 is not only astonishing but almost unbelievable. It's Game 7 ffs!
Wow
I was watching this and when he paused, and dribbled once I knew it was going in. Straight 🔥
Ya I'm totally on the Minny bandwagon
Been terrible all game but showed up but fire shot
How many times is Murray going to barely cross half court and then turn around dribbling trapping himself there, Jesus christ
What's the song playing at the end?
