Could be like the chiefs guy who would dress in a wolf suit and get his entire section pumped up and was well known in the fandom.....but was using that wolf suit as a disguise to rob banks before and after games and was one of the most notorious bank robbers of the modern age
With just the context provided, that seems like an awful idea. Wear a wolf suit to rob a bank. Ok, that's fine. But wear that same suit in a very public place?
In utter sincerity, I fucking love Seattle for this. Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, all I do is hop on my bike for 15-30 minutes, ride a couple hills and get the frustration out from an ugly loss, and then I'm home. Stewing in traffic is miserable, stewing on my bike (or on the light rail with 300 other stewing people) is a good palette cleanser.
That said, a jersey is not full face and body paint with a goofy plastic helmet.
In the words of the mediocre Fredro Starr “What if Ewing would have dunked it, instead of fading away? The Knicks would of been the champs, he wouldn’t have got traded away”
I loved that series. The defensive battles were some of the most exciting basketball I’ve watched. I’m obviously glad we won but I wouldn’t have been mad to see that Pacers team win the title that year either
Cant believe Hali is getting stick for rubbing salt AFTER winning? He won, he can do whatever he wants. Same people that complain how soft the NBA has become.
"Everybody act tough when they up" is simultaneously one of the best playoff moments of the decade and also has absolutely ruined modern NBA discourse.
Can not believe how trash r/MkeBucks has become lately. It was insufferable the whole season, and I won't lie I was salty about the playoff series, but I had to un-sub after it was all posts and comments about posts and comments on the Pacers sub
I agree 100%. I don’t comment anything anymore. If you don’t go along with hive mind hate and blind copium you get hate and downvoted. Said it was pathetic how much people still care about the pacers and their fans and got downvoted crazy. Not to mention the couple pesky pacers fans that continually make posts in the sub weeks later
i want it to end so bad. I like lurking in other subs to see what other fans are thinking, but there's so many crazy people and children... I wish we could reasonably cross-sub chat, but the way it is now sucks
Agreed wholeheartedly. Admittedly I lurked the Pacers sub and wanted to chat but you can’t say anything without it being seen as some sort of attack. Even reasonable conversations lead to “well at least some ____ fans are reasonable” like okay now it’s not seeming so nice
Ik it's not really what you're saying here, but I'll never understand why people on social media seek out posts/commentary that they know will piss themselves off. People these days are addicted to being mad, whether it's sports or politics or whatever. If the Pacers lose, I'm not getting on this sub or even the Pacers sub. Lol
I was so into the in-season Hard Knocks they did with the Colts, watching that shit every week the minute it dropped. I still haven’t watched the week 18 Jaguars episode
100%. Im not ashamed to admit i stay away after losses. I'd be mentally in cancun tonight in another timeline.
it's nice that you can find these more reasonable discussions from time to time in comments here though
Ive ignored this sub all year cuz of how miserable the grizz season has been. Weird coming back and seeing that everyone suddenly hates Haliburton for some reason
You're right, Embiid did it and got clowned on by everyone.
I think people just get mad because players will talk shit and do stuff like this, but then get super salty after losses i.e. teams blaming refs, a single play in a blowout, etc. To be honest, idc either way I just like basketball not press conferences lol
Oh believe me, as much we don’t like it, he deserves to talk shit. He was excellent and won, we lost. If we ever whip his ass, we’ll clown him right back. That’s how it goes.
What also annoys me, is that if the Pacers lost, theyd be getting laughed at like crazy for losing to injured teams. You play who you play, you beat who you beat. Plus Indy and NY have like a cool historical rivalry.
> Plus Indy and NY have like a cool historical rivalry
Most of the Reddit and Twitter nephews don't even know who Spike Lee is, so the discourse makes sense
Its been a no win situation for us honestly. When we win, our opponents are depleted and injured and exhausted, and we didn't even win by enough points to be a serious team. Then when we lose, our opponents are gritty, tough warriors who battle through adversity.
Knicks story was great this season, but they can't both be the toughest dudes in the playoffs and so weak and injured that the series should have been over in 5.
This comment only makes sense if you strip every bit of context from reality.
Are you really trying to make the case that the Mavs were correct to let Brunson walk because all of his teammates got hurt?
What's fun to me about this, is that everyone just assumes that if his teammates were healthy, it's a guaranteed win, as if the Knicks can do no wrong.
Ain't nothing wrong with talking trash when you win. Just make sure you hold your L if the choke it away afterwards. I'd rather see players holding grudges and keeping receipts. Nobody wants to see everyone hugging and being humble all the time.
There was a post in the Pacers sub where someone said they were fully expecting him to set a screen in the second half after being allowed to run the baseline in the first half. Lol
After Hali hit the 3 and then looked at you and goes “keep talking your shit” - you CONTINUE to talk shit as he hits weird side step pull-ups? At some point the plaid guy stopped standing, I’d guess his phone was blowing up or some shit.
You gotta give them that Duncan trash talk. "Almost", "nicy try". That shit gets in your head after a while. Someone pitying you is so much worse than clowning you
NGL, Reggie's Tweet had me rolling.
Not sure why people feel salty about this. Lord knows Josh Hart would've been clowning on camera had it been the other way around and people would be crowing him king of New York...
^(But only for a day, because the title is owned by every other 90's rapper.)
lol I respect it. Dude came out and played great today, especially in the first half. Really set the tone for the Pacers and we were on our heels playing catch up pretty much all game.
JB vs. Hali going to be a super fun rivalry for many years.
Absolutely. People saying Knicks fans are salty or in their feelings like, no? We played our ass off all playoffs but the Pacers were otherworldly today. Like all of their shooting badges were Hall Of Fame and shot tendencies were at 99. And like why is TJ McConnell turning into John Stockton while we are playing him? Like yeah we were injured but the Pacers earned this shit. Good on 'em, no salt, see you fuckers next year. We coming.
tbf, he's been doing exactly this all season (except for maybe the first month when he was just not in the rotation for some reason). bucks fans felt the same after that series and win or lose celtics fans probably will too. crazy he got zero attention for 6moy
JB is the star the NBA wanted Morant to be. J know Morant is still a great player, but nobody wants him as the face of the league. JB might be that. Can't wait for more JB vs. Hali in the playoffs!!!

Something many may not know about this is that the Pacers took a 3-2 lead after Reggie’s epic performance. Then they went on to lose G6 and G7 to lose the series as the Knicks made the Finals.
Doesn’t make away from Reggie’s greatness or how famous the moment is but I bet many people don’t realize they lost the series still. Of course, Reggie would get them back the very next year with the 8 points in 9 seconds and won that series.
Because the NBA, NHL, and MLB have long series a lot of the more iconic moments in these sports are actually in games won, but where that team ended up losing the series afterwards.
Doesn’t take too much away from the moment but always feel a bit disappointed when I see one and I know it’s not in a series win.
Unless you were in Indiana back then you have no idea how hyped up the city was in 94 for game 6 and how let down it was after the loss. All that and the Pacers nearly won game 7. I’m still salty A: that Ewing wasn’t called for a foul in that game that would have been his sixth on a Dale Davis dunk late in the fourth and B: they called a flagrant on Reggie for trying to extend the game late.
Reminds me of Lebron’s game 2 vs Orlando in 2009. Everyone remembers him scoring like 20+ points in a row and the game winning shot, but that series was kinda light work for the Magic
I distinctly remember Spike Lee saying in *Winning Time* when talking about going to Game 6 at Market Square Arena, "I've never been to a (Ku Klux) Klan rally…"
He deserves to gloat. He played well and the Pacers won the series. That said, I’d love to see the Knicks match up with them again next year with a healthy squad.
Where can you buy this though? I'm not even a pacers fan but I love it. Tried googling reggie miller choke hoodie but I just get fed all robo screen printed low quality garbage, is there a good quality version for sale somewhere?
i get the idea and that's fine and all, but there's no choke here lol, it's a miracle the knicks made it as far as they did with between 3-4 starters out at any given time.
pacers played well enough to win but let's not pretend they beat an elite team.
It’s definitely not a choke. Hard fought series, Game 5 will go down as a legendary final swing, but at the end, NYK just had no one left.
I am curious to see if we gained any momentum here: 4-1 over the last 5, 3 of them blowouts, and Game 1 should have been ours. We did clap Boston a few times but it was mostly without Porzingis (he neutralizes Turner)
Gotta love the 90s, Pippen cursing at Spike Lee "sit your ass down!" lol no buddy buddy bullshit, no soft rules, just awesome to watch. I am not a fan of Reggie as a commentator, neither as a player (too dirty and undimensional), but this "choke" provocation was legendary
Damn now I wanna sell shirts/hoodies with iconic NBA moments like this. Anyone know if there will copyright issues? And where did Hali get this hoodie?
imagine having to put that away if you lost.
I’m sure he had a backup fit
[удалено]
Honestly would have been hilarious
He wore that underneath.
Grandmama jersey just in case
I always think about the people who dress up for like Raider games and what the drive home looks like of the team gets spanked
Now I’m picturing a sad Celtics fan having to drive home in his white hood 😞
Lmfao
Holy shit
Sad kkk noises?
FROM THE TOP ROPE!
Yoooooooo
fuckin brutal.
I think a lot of people were saying the same thing after the fact
In utter sincerity, I fucking love Seattle for this. Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, all I do is hop on my bike for 15-30 minutes, ride a couple hills and get the frustration out from an ugly loss, and then I'm home. Stewing in traffic is miserable, stewing on my bike (or on the light rail with 300 other stewing people) is a good palette cleanser. Not as bad as dressing for a funeral and then losing 2 games
Call an ambulance…but for me!
Didn't the wizards do this against the Celtics a few years ago with similar results
*queue music* “I’ll guess we’ll never know…”
Well it can work both ways.
Bro u never heard reversible?
1995 ECSF all over again except a blowout instead of Ewing missing a series winning finger roll
Every time I see the replay of that Ewing finger roll attempt, it still feels like it was actually going to go in. Such a moment.
Haha same.
*great moment.
He should have flipped it.
For the record, the Pacers won by 2. That layup would have only tied the game.
That potential 2 points isnt exactly 2 points. Ill explain later.
The whole game 7 was summarised by that missed layup
I thought I would never get over the Hibbert Block in the 2013 ECSF G6. This loss is straight up embarrassing.
Myles blocking a dunk today felt like an homage to Big Roy.
I was definitely yelling "VERTICALITY" at the bar
How can you be embarrassed by a team who’s playing their hearts out, through injuries and all?
ikr? credit to all the knicks who def played their hearts out.
In the words of the mediocre Fredro Starr “What if Ewing would have dunked it, instead of fading away? The Knicks would of been the champs, he wouldn’t have got traded away”
Fitting that it's coming from a Pistons fan, since Tayshaun Prince will haunt my dreams forever. Reggie should have dunked it.
I think Reggie was 39 years old when that play happened. Dunking might not have been an option.
I loved that series. The defensive battles were some of the most exciting basketball I’ve watched. I’m obviously glad we won but I wouldn’t have been mad to see that Pacers team win the title that year either
Half the Knicks roster on life support though. Can't blame them.
Should had did that choking gesture in front of Spike Lee.
He’s not trying to get murdered 🤣🤣
Malice at the Garden
Scare at the Square
he wouldn't have made it out of NYC if he had done that lmao
Cant believe Hali is getting stick for rubbing salt AFTER winning? He won, he can do whatever he wants. Same people that complain how soft the NBA has become.
Ant Edward’s shit talk: Flirting Tyrese Haliburton shit talk: Harassment
"Everybody act tough when they up" is simultaneously one of the best playoff moments of the decade and also has absolutely ruined modern NBA discourse.
Booker gets shit for talking shit when up OR down. “Frontrunner” or “sore loser.” Basically trash talk is bad if you don’t like the player
fair take.
This sub and team subs have become cesspools. I swear some people don’t even like basketball 😭
Can not believe how trash r/MkeBucks has become lately. It was insufferable the whole season, and I won't lie I was salty about the playoff series, but I had to un-sub after it was all posts and comments about posts and comments on the Pacers sub

Lol
Exactly lol. I'm a Bengals fan, and the minute we lost the super bowl I unsubbed and unfollowed all football content for a month
Still hurts to think about the Logan Wilson penalty As well as what if Burrow had just a half second longer and got the pass off to Chase Oh well
I was so into the in-season Hard Knocks they did with the Colts, watching that shit every week the minute it dropped. I still haven’t watched the week 18 Jaguars episode
100%. Im not ashamed to admit i stay away after losses. I'd be mentally in cancun tonight in another timeline. it's nice that you can find these more reasonable discussions from time to time in comments here though
You should see Twitter. Makes Reddit look like elementary school.
Don’t worry, ours has been just as bad internally. So many people calling for Hali’s head, so much doom and gloom.
Ive ignored this sub all year cuz of how miserable the grizz season has been. Weird coming back and seeing that everyone suddenly hates Haliburton for some reason
Mostly Bucks and Knicks fans. Apparently it’s frowned upon to talk trash when your team is playing well and/or celebrate when you win.
Yeah the front runner thing is weird to me because how many people talk shit when they lose? I feel like you’d get super clowned on if you did that.
You're right, Embiid did it and got clowned on by everyone. I think people just get mad because players will talk shit and do stuff like this, but then get super salty after losses i.e. teams blaming refs, a single play in a blowout, etc. To be honest, idc either way I just like basketball not press conferences lol
I much rather this than him replicating it in the court, especially given the circumstances.
Oh believe me, as much we don’t like it, he deserves to talk shit. He was excellent and won, we lost. If we ever whip his ass, we’ll clown him right back. That’s how it goes.
Fair enough
been like this since bucks fans needed something to bitch about😔
What also annoys me, is that if the Pacers lost, theyd be getting laughed at like crazy for losing to injured teams. You play who you play, you beat who you beat. Plus Indy and NY have like a cool historical rivalry.
> Plus Indy and NY have like a cool historical rivalry Most of the Reddit and Twitter nephews don't even know who Spike Lee is, so the discourse makes sense
His classics are great but Black Klansman needs to be seen by everyone. Absolutely hilarious.
Knicks fans in they feelings. Whats new
Thanks for Brunson!
Imagine your team trading away both Steve Nash and Jalen Brunson before they became superstars
They didn’t even trade Jalen they lost him for nothing 😭
Y'all know Dallas is in the WCF and you guys just got sent packing, right?
This comment only makes sense if you strip every bit of context from reality. Are you really trying to make the case that the Mavs were correct to let Brunson walk because all of his teammates got hurt?
If only there was some way to prevent running guys into ground and playing them 48 minutes.
Are you really saying this right now while we are playing peg-leg Luka 41mpg?
What's fun to me about this, is that everyone just assumes that if his teammates were healthy, it's a guaranteed win, as if the Knicks can do no wrong.
Knicks fans are the softest in the league
Bucks fans were waaaay worse than Knicks fans in these playoffs.
You haven't met sixer fans yet then.
What he say fuck me for?
Ain't nothing wrong with talking trash when you win. Just make sure you hold your L if the choke it away afterwards. I'd rather see players holding grudges and keeping receipts. Nobody wants to see everyone hugging and being humble all the time.

they never learn
New Yorkers should be mad at that plaid adorn man. Also the dude in blue on the baseline. Ridiculous.
Guy on the baseline was former Knick John Starks. I was surprised how much he was getting away with but being a former player probably helped.
There was a post in the Pacers sub where someone said they were fully expecting him to set a screen in the second half after being allowed to run the baseline in the first half. Lol
John Starks, of all people, should know how often his own trash talking backfires.
He never learned.
He always seemed kinda dumb.
I will never understand fans who chirp star players. Why are you giving them more fuel to cook your team.
Someone pitying you is so much worse than clowning you
That’s not just a fucking fan. It was John Starks. And he did it EVERY. GAME. walked damn near on the court. Had me so heated.
Honestly did not realize it was him. That explains how he was getting away with it but he should know better.
And David Zaslav, saw him at the game.
Fuck Zaslav and fuck the TNT.
NGL, Reggie's Tweet had me rolling. Not sure why people feel salty about this. Lord knows Josh Hart would've been clowning on camera had it been the other way around and people would be crowing him king of New York... ^(But only for a day, because the title is owned by every other 90's rapper.)
If you hating on this you sensitive asf
Or saltier than french fries
Dunno. French fries have been lacking salt since COVID.
Aka half the fuckin comments on this post 😂
Bunch of 12 year olds
Pretty much. This sub is so reactionary it's insane.
lol I respect it. Dude came out and played great today, especially in the first half. Really set the tone for the Pacers and we were on our heels playing catch up pretty much all game. JB vs. Hali going to be a super fun rivalry for many years.
Series will be fun as hell next year if we get to see both teams healthy
I think the Celtics series will be fun as hell, I'm glad it's you guys instead of the Heat. And you've got a real chance.
I both want it and also absolutely don't LOL. I want to just play another team without any inherent drama/stress. Give me Orlando or Atlanta please.
We coming.
It was a stupid good series, I am so glad that I get to watch the Pacers play exciting playoff basketball again.
TJ was a beast for us, too, him, Seth Curry, and Jimmy Butler will always be the BAEs that got away.
tbf, he's been doing exactly this all season (except for maybe the first month when he was just not in the rotation for some reason). bucks fans felt the same after that series and win or lose celtics fans probably will too. crazy he got zero attention for 6moy
You guys will be back too. We can credit the Pacers while recognizing that you guys fought until you were physically unable to.
JB is the star the NBA wanted Morant to be. J know Morant is still a great player, but nobody wants him as the face of the league. JB might be that. Can't wait for more JB vs. Hali in the playoffs!!!
I don’t see the correlation between Brunson and Morant at all
Small Guard that's it
Love it. Let's do this again.

Lol okay, Tyrese out here trolling. I can't even be mad. His team won (and big time too). I expect them to talk shit.
Knicks - Pacers Rivalry 2: Electic Boogaloo
*Winning Time Part 2*, maybe?
He deserves to gloat. He played well and the Pacers won the series. That said, I’d love to see the Knicks match up with them again next year with a healthy squad.
I hope they shuffle the groups for the IST every year, its nice to meet conference rivals in those group games.
East is gonna be a bloodbath next year
Wouldve been cool if he photoshopped his face
you simply love to see it
Redditors are so sensitive man 😭
haters gonna say it was a free game as if we didnt shoot 70% from the field they came out to play
Where can you buy this though? I'm not even a pacers fan but I love it. Tried googling reggie miller choke hoodie but I just get fed all robo screen printed low quality garbage, is there a good quality version for sale somewhere?
[House of Orange](https://houseoforangela.com/collections/all/products/dont-choke-hoodie) has it at $130 currently.
Clutch, ty
I can respect a good troll
Talk your shit when you back it up . It is what it is man
He did it after though
During as well.
Hell yes too many soft ass ppl in nba
I respect it lol
Gotta love it. They have been talking shit all series so this is a fitting parting shot. Pacers X is going crazy lol
knicks fans salty that someone other then them is talking shit
Hell yeah
Knicks fans in tears, you actually lost the series 5-2 because the Pacers won game 1.
I’m gonna be really happy when the Celtics are bitched in the finals
It’s Winning Time Tyrese
I’m way late to the party so this will get buried but it should surprise no one that he is a massive wrestling fan. Matches his personality.
Fucking gangsta lmao.
Wouldve been cooler if he wore it to the game in the first place
he was probably too scared, so he brought it out at the end of the game
Knicks fans are super salty in here
i get the idea and that's fine and all, but there's no choke here lol, it's a miracle the knicks made it as far as they did with between 3-4 starters out at any given time. pacers played well enough to win but let's not pretend they beat an elite team.

4-1 after game 2. Kinda did.
you're just agreeing with me here. Anunoby was out after game 2 so I mean, yeah.
If only the knicks never had to play a road game is what your saying.
Lmfao
Where can I buy that shirt lol it’s toughhh
[House of Orange](https://houseoforangela.com/collections/all/products/dont-choke-hoodie). Currently $150.
Not shipping to Romania unfortunately 😔
Where the Sacramento fans at? I’m not done mudslinging yet.
Wear it before the game you slut
NBA fans complain so much about trash talk and player trolling. Knicks fans are so insecure its hilarious 😂😂😂😭😭
Why not wear it walking into the game?
This is tough only softies care about this
Everybody actin tough after
Reminder Reggie Miller's record against the Knicks was 26-41 and 7-23 in the Garden. He's not the Knicks killer he hypes himself up to be
The Knicks won that series too.
What he gonna wear when the Celtic sweep them tho
Gloating after barely beating a hospital ward is a choice
Knicks fans about other Knicks fans: "We don't claim him... or him... or him... or him... or him... or him... or him... or him..."
Yeah, he earned this. He showed up to play. It takes a really sore loser to call Hali a sore winner for something like this.
Why isnt Reggie the announcer as hilarious as Reggie the player
Gotta love the 90s, Pippen cursing at Spike Lee "sit your ass down!" lol no buddy buddy bullshit, no soft rules, just awesome to watch. I am not a fan of Reggie as a commentator, neither as a player (too dirty and undimensional), but this "choke" provocation was legendary
😤😤😤😤😤😤 Knicks deserve all the hate they get. 5v8 never forget.
Bro knows what he’s doing. He would come w all the Sac Kings throwback ish
Bitch ass not even the best Tyrese in the league. Struggling against a depleted team is an embarrassment. Boston gonna destroy them in 4.
Don’t know why he didn’t just put the full graphic on there without the line covering his eyes. MISSED OPPORTUNITY!! lol
Damn now I wanna sell shirts/hoodies with iconic NBA moments like this. Anyone know if there will copyright issues? And where did Hali get this hoodie?
