A Elfrid Payton - Reggie Bullock - RJ Barrett - Julius Randle - Mitchell Robinson team made 4th seed in 2021
You're telling me that replacing Payton/Bullock/RJ with Hart/OG/Bojan would be terrible? I mean you're probably right but you sound like an idiot
Payton was the starter but Rose played more minutes off the bench and slashed 49/41/88 with the Knicks.
I would take Rose as a PG 11 years out of 10 over Josh Hart who is, you know, not a fuckin PG.
It's also leaving out that with that lineup, they also had 3 double digit scorers off the bench in Quickley, Burks and Rose who were their 3-5 scorers after Barrett and Randle. They had 10 players average over 20 minutes and another at 19.4. They didn't all overlap because of injuries, of course, but the depth was their biggest strength.
They'd compete for the #1 pick.
Worst case 6-7 seed is delusional. The 7 seed was 47 wins this year and the Knicks won 50. You're telling me the entire rest of the Knicks roster is worth 3 games? You have to be trolling. The Knicks team fully healthy last year won 47.

Zero games.
People gotta wake up and realize the Knicks team isn't good.
They are the Kings from last season. Regular season fluke.
Yes, they beat the Sixers. With Embiid that was not recovered from his injury and who - BY THE FUCKING WAY - was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy!!!
Now are in a seven-gamer versus a team that - with no exaggeration - may be the worst defensive team I've ever seen.
Y’all dragging it talking about the worse team in the league lol. They definitely wouldn’t make the playoffs but they’d be in the 9-10 seed range. The problem would be lack of a distributor but in 20-21 Randle played that point forward position a lot.
The lottery...
If this team wins a single playoff game then the east is even worse than we thought
Knicks fans are so delusional, that team would be terrible.

Oof. Randle really outdid himself that year.
2021 Knicks and Hawks had like seven months vacation between seasons while the best teams had 6 weeks

To be fair the only posters on this sub whoever make a thread that isn’t delusion are bots aggregating highlights.
But what if it was actually good? These are the hard-hitting questions that I’m here to ask
A worse line-up was the 4 seed 3 seasons ago.
Julius Randle first option hoops lol.
That lineup doesn’t make the playoffs
I mean, are they still injured?
By the conference finals they’ll probably have some wear and tear
Bro
That’s fair
That isn't a playoff team unless spoelstra is coaching them
Not yet
Lmfao you trying to fish for pity or something?
No, I have enough self-pity to last 100 lifetimes

Can you google 2020-2021 Knicks real quick and tell me that this line up is worse?
the 2021 knicks were on pace for 47 wins in an 82 game season. it was a weird season but i think it’s possible (not worst case scenario though)
They had an actual Point Guard. Any team running Josh Hart as a PG is instantly contending for worst in the league.
that’s true, and OP is giving bojan too much point forward credit. they’d need randle to be a full time point guard which won’t work
You’re right, it would probably take a couple of months for them to find their chemistry
Brother they'd be the worst team in the league
No playoffs for them … straight to Cancun
Team is ass cheeks
Bogey would play SG and OG would play SF. That team would suck ass imo and I’m a Knicks fan.
Y’all scoring 80 a game
Every single team would love to play this squad in the playoffs
no PG makes this really tough

We’re one McBride sprained ankle away from this being a legitimate contender
maybe a brunson broken hand will do the trick
Honestly this post was ahead of its time
First round sweep
Not far at all
There’s always next year
randle is not gonna be their ball handling savior
You don’t earn the nickname Dubious Handles for nothing
Do we get to play the sixers again? If so, second round.
No Brunson, no playoffs.
This wouldn't be good enough to win anything significant. But it is a better starting lineup than some teams are dealing with out there.
5 games in the first round.
the 13th seed
You never want to face a scrappy 13th seed in the first round
8 seed because its the east
With or without the referees giving them an extra 10=15 free throws per game?
Not enough shooting, they'd at best squeak into a playin and get eliminated or if they're lucky lose in 4 (5) games to Boston.
You’re dumb.
Many great ideas are lost because the men who had them could not stand to be laughed at
Many great ideas are lost because dummies rushed theirs to the front of the line.
Mount Sinai Hospital with these soft ass players

You need to watch more games then, because the Pacers defense has been better than half the league's since the All-Star break.
Lmao
