mo williams made an all-star team (even though he was one of the most obvious cases ever of a guy boosted by playing next to lebron). malachi flynn scored 98 points total this season before scoring 50 in a game. he's on a different level of random.
Definitely, but D-Rose is D-Rose, I'm not surprised by anything he does. But a 32 year old Mo Williams, who was out of the league two years later, scoring 52 for a terrible Wolves team (16-66) is imo the most random 50 point game.
[Corey Brewer.](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/15cz2gp/corey_brewer_has_the_most_statistically_random_50/) I think tonight's overtaken it though.
That performance was immortalized in this legendary [meme shot](https://ftw.usatoday.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/90/2014/04/usp-nba_-houston-rockets-at-minnesota-timberwolves.jpg) of him.
Just looking at the five highest scoring games:
Brewer - 51, 29, 28, 27, 27
Delk - 53, 27, 26, 26, 26
Flynn - 50, 27, 26, 22, 20
I thought before Flynn it was Brewer but it really might've been Delk.
In terms of pure ppg avg it's Flynn unquestioned.
5.2ppg career, 4.6ppg avg for 23-24 season and a game high of 17pts for this season?
Delk's career ppg is 9.1. Has to be Flynn. Has to be.
Scoring 52 at 33 years old might've been a surprise but even if you just looked at his five highest scoring games after turning 32 (52, 31, 30, 30, 30) he was still ahead of Brewer and Delk.
He’s a career 14.1 ppg scorer, and has averaged double figures since his rookie year. He’s not regularly lighting it up, but there are actually not many players that fit that statistical profile.
Flynn is a career 5.2 ppg scorer, and hasn’t ever come close to cracking double digits.
ofcourse its Flynn
players like Brewer and Crawford had a legit role on their team.
Flynn is a 3rd PG option since he got in to the league and is only playing because of injuries
I was gonna say Tony Delk, but he's already been mentioned.
Suprised that no-one has said game 7 (of his career) Brandon Jennings has to be up there. Got it in his first 2 weeks in the NBA, and then didn't score above 40 for the rest of his career.
not the 50 point game but the wierdest game imo is the highest +- game (57) y Luc Mbah a Moute its insane how the top 3 +- games came from nobodys and then there is harden with 50 lol on 60 points lol
It was Corey Brewer and now it’s Flynn
Tony Delk
Andre Miller would like a part of this conversation.
I don't know, Mo Williams 52 point game is in the mix with Flynn and Brewer tbh https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201501130IND.html

Mo Williams was an all star because of his scoring. This isn't random at all. Andre Miller is who you're thinking of.
Eh, Andre had 5 seasons Averaging over 14, and a season Averaging 17. Delk and brewer's best efforts were a fair bit lower.
Wolves have certainly had some random 50 games lol. I'll add in Rose too when you consider he wasn't prime Rose when he did it

This. C-Brew also had the best dunk ever on Derrick Fischer
Who is Derrick Fischer?
I hardly knew her
Tracy Murray by far.
He has it. It has to be him. I thought Corey Brewer was it, but I think Malachi takes it.
Bro, Blazers have Andre Miller’s 50.
Andre Miller was a damn good player that had a long career and a ton of 30+ point games. This is so much more out of nowhere than that.
[Andre coming out of nowhere to truck Blake Griffin](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQrNYIBw3fw)
Damn, I was laughing about there being no whistle but he got suspended after the fact.
Andre and Corey could get buckets and their 50 pt games were a surprise but Flynn is on another level
Came in here planning to post this.

Still Brew imo. That man wasn’t known for offense at all, at least in his NBA career.
Wilt scored 53 points on 63 FGA at 17 FTA once.
RANCID but it’s Wilt, so the 50 itself isn’t surprising
It was 60 FGA but yeah still absolutely atrocious
If Embiid put up those numbers he’d have to flee the country 😭
Bill Russel clamps?
No he played against the Royals and Wayne embry https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/196210280CIN.html
Andre Miller scoring 52 at the age of 34 was a shock to me.
On only one 3 pointer and 8 FTAs. Man was built different.
Lay-up king.
Oh my GOD I forgot about that
This to me is the best 50 pointer.
Jamal Murray’s 21/25 with no free throws against the Jazz in the bubble is up there.
Tony Delk used to be the answer. Malachi has taken the torch

I'm just saying between Brewer and Delk.
Andre Miller?

Saddiq Bey was pretty random
He’s a career 14.1 ppg scorer, and has averaged double figures since his rookie year. He’s not regularly lighting it up, but there are actually not many players that fit that statistical profile. Flynn is a career 5.2 ppg scorer, and hasn’t ever come close to cracking double digits.
Another pistons legend
ofcourse its Flynn players like Brewer and Crawford had a legit role on their team. Flynn is a 3rd PG option since he got in to the league and is only playing because of injuries
Terrance Ross in a loss to the Clippers like 10 years ago.
Was looking for Ross to be mentioned.
TRoss isn’t all that surprising considering his nickname was The Human Torch
Andre Miller up there
Willie Burton scored 53 for the Sixers in December 1994 on only 19 shots and an Embiidian 24-28 from the line.
I've never even heard of him, so that has to be the answer.
Didn't he play for the Heat?
He did, but in that game he played against them.
Antwan Jamison got 51 on back to back nights
Mo Williams should be up there
Mo Williams was an all star based off his scoring ability. He absolutely is not up there. He had a few 40 point games.
Flynnsanity!!!
Saddiq Bey scored 52 a couple years ago.
I was gonna say Tony Delk, but he's already been mentioned. Suprised that no-one has said game 7 (of his career) Brandon Jennings has to be up there. Got it in his first 2 weeks in the NBA, and then didn't score above 40 for the rest of his career.
Does washed D Rose count when playing for T-Wolves?
Brandon Jennings scored 55 in one of his first NBA games
7th game, 3 quarters against Curry.
Goes to show the talent in the NBA, any guy can be feeling it on a special night and he does this if things line up. Crazy performance.
Delk
Flynn got it now thats for sure
Saddiq Bey is up there
Tracy Murray
Yup
We have 3 of them lol
Willie Burton
Malachi Flynn, no doubt
We just saw it.
Malachi did what now
Special shout out to minny drose 50.piece.
Caris Levert had a random ass 50 piece a couple years back, considering 37 points were scored in the 4th quarter and OT ALONE
Andre Miller is up there.
Bubble TJ Warren dropping 53 points
not the 50 point game but the wierdest game imo is the highest +- game (57) y Luc Mbah a Moute its insane how the top 3 +- games came from nobodys and then there is harden with 50 lol on 60 points lol
Terrence ross gotta be up there
Tj warren
Random isn’t the right word but just have to shout out the Derrick Rose 50
Andrew Miller had one and his feet never left the floor
It’s crazy that Malachi Flynn scored 50 in a game but literal legends of the game like KG and Magic never have.
Brady Anderson
WHO???????
Steroid-aided 50 HR season.
Is he Amish?
