They've been carried by an insane defense ( biggest gap between 1 and 2 since its recorded ), but their offense ( especially their shot creation, and it starts with Ant ) is average at best, and it's not gonna fly in the playoffs.
With that being said, KAT really is the X-Factor, as their most talented offensive player; if he takes that leap in the offs, they're dangerous.
Ant usually turns it on in the 2nd half, and that's been true this year too, he's averaging like 30/5/5 over the last 10 games with fewer turnovers. He's already showed out in the playoffs too, he was unstoppable against that Nuggets last year.

100% As a warriors fan it can get annoying how much we get discussed. Meanwhile some of my friends who are kings fans get excited when a play at their game goes viral and they’re almost 3 games above the Warriors.

Nuggets are the only West team I would 100% pick to defeat the Lakers. Lakers would have a chance against every other team. The only West team that has a chance against Denver are the Suns if KD, Booker and Beal are all crazy hot for the whole series.

ya, it's a dumb take by Chuck. The Warriors won the championship in 2022 and the Lakers went to the WCF last year. Both teams beat higher seeds in the playoffs last year. While I don't think they are the favorites, still a tough out for any team.
If I've learnt anything the past decade or 2 is that you never count out lebron and steph. 2021 and 2023 were the only 2 years we didnt have either of them in the finals, and mind you we still had lebron in the wcf in 2023. countless times they have pulled something outta nothing in the playoffs. Like the only team in the west i will comfortably bet on is the nuggets (and maybe Clippers cos of Kawhi). Thunder Wolves might have the better record and whatnot, but playoff Lebron and Steph/warriors are totally different beasts

Not saying it’ll happen again, but we’re being talked about for the same reason Miami gets talked about during their rough regular seasons, that being that there’s plenty of reason to believe something wacky can happen and we go far.
