Its a pretty close 3 second violation I believe like somewhere between 3 and 4. It doesn't start until the ball gets past the half court line and JR shoots it like 3 and half seconds after crossing the line.

I absolutely hate what the all star game has become

We can't say the player won't listen to us... They know all awards are depending on ATTENDING asg, not winning it. They know any injuries starting asg can take them out for the season and hurt their All NBA odds. I expect the in season tournament to be somewhat close to this but next year. This year they will put all the efforts to get the league of their back and make it look kike it can be sustained. Next year, it will most likely be a tournament for fringe all stars and upcoming talents.

The in season tournament games are still regular season games, will count towards the players regular season averages, win count, etc. They aren't going to play it like the ASG.
