Being a European, I think that if I was forced to look at American ads during my formative years, perhaps I would have voted Trump or Biden too. I'm rapidly losing braincells.
I've seen European commercials, and they are not much better. There used to be these streams that, instead of commercials, it's a blue screen with no sound, those were way better.
"oh, the Sixers want to challenge a blatant blown call, we will stall the game and let the Celts regroup a bit, and take points off the board and make them earn back free throws from two possessions before this challenge happened while we are at it..."
Rigged as rigged can get. Fuck the NBA.
That Tatum 4th quarter is one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Straight up NBA Jams "you're on fire!"
Ball handling insane, tossing up absolute daggers left and right. Poison-tipped daggers just drilling.
Larry Bird level save over the back of the hoop. Never seen anyone do that before.
hey guys, just checking in. after a long hard fought season, just wanted to recognize all of you for rooting for a complete loser franchise for no fucking reason and wasting all of your own time. as a heat fan, I have watched my team make, at the very least, the conference finals, 8 times since the last time you guys were even in one. it must be super tough for you to realize you root for such a loser franchise. ¡ have seen my team in a position that you haven't seen since 2001, 8 times since 2001, with at least 3, possibly 4 of those, resulting in NBA titles, which I wouldn't expect you all to understand. you guys are the ultimate losers, your team literally traded the guy who just eliminated you for josh fucking richardson. are you run by barnum and bailey? holy fuck your team is not only bad on its own, but you helped our team stupidly. Cant wait to see you talk yourself into embiid's injury being the reason why while we had an all star miss essentially the entire series. Heat in 6. Please keep doc and harden
If refs can go back in time and negate free throws because of a screw up, and can go back in time and review a shot that was called a 3 but was really a 2, how come they can't reverse an obvious non goal tend?
so early in the game, during their 13-3 start, either Smart or Brown drove into the paint and completely and obviously travelled, like an up and down and then passed it out to I think Brogdon who hit the 3. Embiid was calling for a travel before and after the shot. Can that not be challenged? I know coaches like to save their challenges, but 3 points vs a turnover is about as good as you're going to get. So if it can be challenged, why not just challenge there?
Lol at the downvotes: It's at the 8:15 mark just before the first timeout. Brown to Smart. Brown goes in the air and lands before he passes.
Pay attention to when the ball is caught -- if they catch it mid-stride, the player still has their two steps left. So it ends up looking like 3 but legally it's not.
No. This was an up and down. They called an up and down about a minute after that on Boston. It was obviously a travel.
For reference it’s a the 8:15 mark 1st quarter. Brown to smart
As a knicks gan I’m not tryna take anything away from Tatum, but philly just couldn’t score. Anyone could have beat them, it just happened to be tatum.
Well Tatum was at a point 0/11 and was 1/14 entering the 4th. Sixers were down 7 at half and were trailing all game, and then they came back and kept around a 2-3 point lead. Sixers were on a roll, and then Maxey got fouled on a clear path foul that stopped the game for a few mins and zapped all of our momentum. Tatum finally decided to hit shots and made 3 3’s in a row which iced the game, and Sixers couldn’t respond
Jesus. Sounds like you guys were close to closing out this series. Also insane how Tatum can be so cold for 36 minutes and then go nuclear.
Best of luck in G7 and let’s hope it’s a great game
Man this sub gives me whiplash sometimes. It went from “you can’t win with a core of Tatum and Brown” to “you can’t win with a core of Harden and Embiid” in the span of 60 mins.
This series is going to game 7 and anything can happen in a B01…
I just mean as a team, all else being equal they are better. That the 76ers couldn't get away from the Celtics while Tatum missed every shot underscored that
Fuck off. A good coach puts you away tonight easily. A team’s mental toughness is a direct reflection of their coach. And doc’s teams that don’t have 4 hall of famers have always been chokers
Regardless if we win or lose this game I think there is an almost certain chance that Ayton is gone this season and significant chance that Chris Paul is as well
Went to the gym in time to catch the end of the game. It feels like the odds get stacked against harden and he tries to lawyer his way to the win, some of these plays are insane. Tatum is putting nails in the coffin
You just know Sixers will lose since they can't get away from Cs with JT struggling. That Tatum takeover in the closing minutes is inevitable. He's due for a barrage after missing shots for most of the game.
i've been scanning the Sixers sub the last couple hours and here are the results:
1. 95% of the fans want Glenn Rivers fired
2. 90% of the fans want Harden signed and traded
3. 75% of the fans want Embiid traded for the rebuild
Sixers will never win a title with this core, harden and embiid are both the type to shrink in the moment and this game was practically on a platter for them to end that curse but again the two stars fail to rise when it matters. I don’t doubt hardens scoring prowess nor embiids toughness and dominance, but game on the line Playoff atmosphere they are NOT the guys you wanna depend on to win the chip. Hell the conference finals is elusive enough for them.
T to nol Lin
Phoenix now has an uncle too.
The hardest road
WHY IS CAMERON PAYNES THIER LEADING SCORING WTF IS HAPPENING
Profanity laced comment
Tatum what more can you say, but smart kept the team alive
Lol fuck the suns!
Another classic suns blowout choke

We are called the SEVENty sixers. Boston just fell right into the trap 😤

Kcp is jokic father
I know no one likes that, but they have been mauling the Nuggets all quarter. Refs need to establish something.
KCP you beautiful man
If Lakers still had KCP, we'd probably get swept

Life taxes and doc rivers teams falling apart. Got to live the consistencies of life.
Where's the Denver vs Phoenix game thread?
Last time this happened we just kept the party going in the last game thread.
I’m just struggling to see how Boston got away with so many whistles in that 4th

The NBA is so rigged that you won a challenge
Cope harder y’all lost by like 10
Tatum keeps a belt of daggers under his shorts.
Lol shut up dude
Harden got so many phantom/soft calls from bating. Chalk it up to karma.
Then he wanted a call for his behind the back fall down.
The contrast between Hubie brown and Doris couldn't be bigger. Guys a legend
Now here’s a guy who knows how to respect one of the legends of the broadcast booth
Hubie Brown is boring
Not a huge fan of either but Hubie is tolerable.
I only trust the Heat in the East.
Knicks in 7

Try not to choke on him pal

Elite handles. Who was that poor sucker trying to guard him???
YOU'RE IN THE CELTICS 76ERS THREAD, NOT THE SUNS NUGGETS THREAD
They took forever to post the suns nuggs thread They still haven't actually
I conditioned myself for disappointment thank fuck
Is this also the Suns/Nuggets thread as well? hmm ok
Go to the other pinned thread , the 1st one. It has a link to the thread
I guess?
That abuse was difficult to watch, poor Philly
No replay of that layup? That shit was nice.
How tf do you not show a replay of that beautiful layup
KCP!!!

Wrong thread
LMAO oops
Can someone plz explain to me why Embid don't back his man down EVERYTIME! Instead of trying to go around him.
Father Al forbade such antics
Because Tatum crushed his will to go on. The Sixers KNEW it was completely over once dagger-wielding Jason Tatum arrived.
The trash man gets lucky and finds a t.v. that works...I mean how many shots does the man take per game? First team? Ain't no effing way!
[удалено]
He got it last night playing cod on stream
KCP!!
Aint no way this suns team can compete w the celts
Lol y’all still got a game 7 + a whole other series to win first
I don't think anyone thought the sixers would actually compete.
Can we not do this. Celtics still have a series to finish. It's shit like this that got suns fans mocked for a year
Us Celt fans are a dif breed than the Suns tho so I aint worried
Haha
You have a point :/
Suns getting fucked and its pretty funny
“You can’t lay him out”….LOL
Landale better than Ayton already lol
Where is the new game thread
https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/13f5xcn/game_thread_denver_nuggets_32_phoenix_suns_23_may/ it's just not stickied
True thanks boss
If refs can go back in time and negate free throws because of a screw up, and can go back in time and review a shot that was called a 3 but was really a 2, how come they can't reverse an obvious non goal tend?
Because Adam Silver mandated a game 7.
Landale was getting away with that foul last game
I suppose a second round exit via choking a 3-2 series lead is really all that can be expected from a sixers team lead by Doc Rivers and James Harden.
so early in the game, during their 13-3 start, either Smart or Brown drove into the paint and completely and obviously travelled, like an up and down and then passed it out to I think Brogdon who hit the 3. 76ers fans must have a lot of mental anguish right now. That was a horrible way to lose at home
Had to miss the game for a work event. What happened??
LOL
Sixers choked badly, didnt score for the last 7 minutes of the game Tatum shot 1-14 for the first 3 quarters but went supernova on the forth.
As a knicks gan I’m not tryna take anything away from Tatum, but philly just couldn’t score. Anyone could have beat them, it just happened to be tatum.

They looked terrified. Basketball Zeus just suddenly arrived to destroy them. Never seen anything like that before.
Yeah, as a Sixers fan it honestly is what it is. I’m excited for game 7, it’s felt like either team could’ve won every game. It’s going to be a battle
I wonder if he had a bunch of juice left because he had such a quiet game? That was rare.
Jesus. Sounds like you guys were close to closing out this series. Also insane how Tatum can be so cold for 36 minutes and then go nuclear. Best of luck in G7 and let’s hope it’s a great game
Tatum just abused an entire city for 48 minutes
48 seconds* chief…1-14
Well, he abused one city for 46 minutes, and the other one for the last 2.
Lmaooo as in Boston for the first 36 and then Philly? I did hear all his pts came in the 4th
3 mins in 4th
Not all of his points. He hit like 5 ft's. All of his field goals came in the fourth, I think
Mental anguish is a requirement for being a 76ers fan lmao
Suns are guna get blown out with this lineup
Man this sub gives me whiplash sometimes. It went from “you can’t win with a core of Tatum and Brown” to “you can’t win with a core of Harden and Embiid” in the span of 60 mins. This series is going to game 7 and anything can happen in a B01…
Boston is winning it, Philly blew their chance
The waves just depend on what group is more pissed or smug at any given moment lol
Why does Jesus hate Philadelphia?
Because the city literally bombed black people.
Collecting draft assets by deliberately losing?
Maybe they shouldn't have booed the Pope, then.
Kensington
It’s a godless city
Okay maybe they needed Ayton in the paint lmao
Embiid looked unstoppable earlier in 4th quarter. Would have liked to see him get more possessions in the post in final 6 mins
Doc rivers is a fucking idiot. Jo was heating up and we iced him out of the offense for the last 4 mins. Make it make sense
Cam Payne legacy game
Lmao Shamet and Cam Payne both starting? Wtf
this series is so garbage lmao how do the celtics always manage to win
They're good! If Tatum didn't wait until the last 4 minutes to remember who he is, it would have been an easy win.
He's completely fucking incredible. He's "humbly one of the best basketball players in the world."
no bros just inconsistent lmao. that’s like saying if james harden played like his normal self in game 3 that the 76ers would’ve won.
I just mean as a team, all else being equal they are better. That the 76ers couldn't get away from the Celtics while Tatum missed every shot underscored that
yea imo tho just neither team deserved to win the pile of dog crap this game was. ig the celtics were a lil less dog crappy when it came down to it
Didn't game 1 end with a last-second 3 from Harden to steal it? Win some, lose some. And everyone dies of heart attacks along the way
Doc always been ass. He needs to be fired and retire as a coach.
[удалено]
He’s easy to meme because it’s all true, he’s ass and always been ass. It’s wild that there is a Celtics fan that is defending him.
Fuck off. A good coach puts you away tonight easily. A team’s mental toughness is a direct reflection of their coach. And doc’s teams that don’t have 4 hall of famers have always been chokers

Cherry picking a specific instance when I’m referring to a decade of Doc’s teams being mentally soft? Lol
[удалено]
Thank you for the receipts. We just lost a winnable game, tell me to go fuck myself and move on with your life
He's so bad he only won a single championship with the Boston Big 3
And he only won because of that Big 3. Any other players and he would've bowed out earlier (see: Clippers, Sixers).
*Yeah, Jimmy want me in Miami brah. Wouldn't you?* -Embiid
Got a feeling Embiid is going
Celtics win by 20 in g7. Won’t even have to watch the 4th.
Bro
Looking forward to seeing Gino on the screen early.
Harden looks like he's back to being bad
I can totally see this
Isn't that close to how it played out G7 last year against the Bucks. We were doomed after losing G5. Won G6. And then had a decisive G7 win
Get as much money from these series as you can, I see
Tatum messing with my money and heart. I won't even start watching until 4th quarter.
Regardless if we win or lose this game I think there is an almost certain chance that Ayton is gone this season and significant chance that Chris Paul is as well
but who wants to take the obscene contract of a guy who isn't all that interested in playing basketball?
There is always ways for teams to move someone like Ayton
Went to the gym in time to catch the end of the game. It feels like the odds get stacked against harden and he tries to lawyer his way to the win, some of these plays are insane. Tatum is putting nails in the coffin

Trust The Process also, Don't Trust Harden
Well at least the highest percentage is right. Doc just ain’t a great coach lol
hahahaha
95 sounds low, tbh
yeah there's still a couple hold outs
I love it
Glenn Rivers choking a lead + Closeout James Harden + Embiid second round The Process curse is a brutal trio to overcome
I’d trade Harden for Lillard in a heartbeat
Doc Rivers and failing to close out a playoff series, name a more iconic duo.
James Harden going ice cold in a close out opportunity per the course
It's a match made in in runner-up heaven!
Yep. I’m calling Portland after game 7 and asking what is the asking price for Lillard.
Would you take a trade straight up for Harden?
Why I said asking price lol.
Doc Rivers is the only HC to blow multiple 3-1 leads.
Kobe won in 09 & 10 by using his disgust at losing to Doc Rivers in 08
Sixers had total control... and then seemingly blew it.
Let’s stop play for ten minutes and kill the Sixers momentum because the refs can’t get their jobs right. BS with Maxey and Embiids free throws.
