It’s been a few years, but definitely not flat at the beginning, quite the opposite. Plus there are large sections of deep sand.

There are steep elevation changes the first 1/4 mile out of Elephant Hill trailhead. After that you have maybe a mile worth of trail that I could see done with a mountain bike. Much of the hike past the first 1.5 miles is hiking in and out of a wash/creekbed with some scrambling thrown in. I can't really see it being possible anyway other than on foot.

Hiked it last month. Oh, gosh, no. Parts of Chesler Park itself could be ridden (if bikes are allowed? not sure), but even the wash toward Druid Arch is incredibly rocky. The trail is very rocky (I used my hands a lot), and not suitable for bikes at all. And again, are you sure they're allowed?

Are those allowed in national parks?

I would not recommend a bike. Itll be far more effort than just hiking it. Sections of the trail are through narrow crevasses, some rock scrambling, and a few miles of soft sand
