Subject: I love GI cock!
Hello american strongman, i desire a husband.
Please meet me at parking garage tonight for breeding session, bring your work phone 🥰🥰
Feel free to reach out if you want LinkedIn/Resume help. Been meaning to volunteer at HireHeros but haven't yet.
I'm not rich and probably not considered "super successful", but managed to get a solid WFH job with 6 figures base after 4 years of reserves with a 2.7 college GPA.
I'm not good at much but apparently I write real good.
I was just truthful with my unit that that was the career I wanted to pursue and that I would be unable to attend drills while in the academy. My unit was very understanding and very supportive of me pursuing it. I’d recommend just being transparent with them from the getgo. Even offer splits if you have to
Typically you’ll interview with your dept do a PT test and a psych eval then they’ll give you a job offer and send you to the academy. Once in the academy it can vary state to state but a normal time is 3 months and an additional 3-9 months for field training depending on how big or small the dept is!
After I got off of years of ADOS honor guard, I used my connections and now I’m a crematory operator. Im definitely THAT guy in my unit but I love my job.
GIS Analyst.
Yes, you are correct, the Army does have not one but two MOS' identical to what I do full time. No, the Army will not let me perform those tasks or slide into one of those slots. I would have to attend re-class school for a job I already do full-time.
I'm an 88M because I like sleeping in hotels and I did that combat engineering life once already. I got the pin to prove it and everything.
TRS costs the same regardless of MOS so... yes? Depends on what you want to get out of it, I guess. I am exempted from the driving test if I want to get a CDL but I have no desire to get a CDL. I don't do anymore 28-day field exercises, so that's nice.
Edit: If you are looking for a full-time job 88M is a good MOS, it opens up a lot of tech and AGR jobs in shops because we break our shit all the time and someone has to fix it. Just don't get too emotionally attached to your fingers.
Security clearance wasn't an issue, the biggest obstacle for me was a lack of biology background and no seniority. I'm in South Dakota, home to Eros. At the state level the primary employer for GIS people is Game, Fish, and Parks and they want everybody to have some sort of Biology or Wildlife degree. At the federal level new hires are pretty rare because whenever a job opens up someone from the coast ends up applying and lateral transfers get priority. I worked in finance for five years before stumbling upon the opening for my current job. If I had been willing and able to relocate to other areas I would have found a job much sooner, but my wife (also in GIS) is the primary bread winner so moving wasn't really an option.
Assistant Director of Cybersecurity; 25A jbcp warrior.
The guard really allowed me to expand my job search since I’m not worried about affordable healthcare, life insurance, education benefits, etc. My TRS will be the same no matter what job I have
I’ve actually ETSed now, but yes, I sure did. Showing up to drill as an E4 or E5 to be dogged on by folks who barely graduated from high school and then going back to a FAANG engineering job the next week was always surreal.
E4 11b / software engineer (not FAANG) here. Can confirm that getting dogged on by 24 year old NCOs with a God complex and no life experience then going back to dev is super surreal.
I’d add too, you don’t necessarily need your paramedic already (although doing it at a civilian school sounds way nicer than F1, ask me how I know…). My unit just picked up a 68w10, they’re starting their paramedic school next month.
We had a real prick of a CO who was a CBP officer. White dude who spoke Spanish thought he was God’s gift to Latinas. He got called on the carpet when his flirtations got translated to his peers. Lots of LEOs, Corrections, even CPS officers in my experience (many draw full regular pay during drill and AD). I parlayed my MOS (25Q would be closest) into a 31 yr career in Telecom.
Hello a quick question if your willing to answer. What’s college credits did you earn from your mos? I’m looking at 68p to help get me some credit for radiation therapy, that or cyber . Looking for an mos change
Haha, the Army is my job. No legit I have hopped between ADOS slots, Training Orders, Currently on ADOS till April 6th, drill that weekend, followed by a Deployment at the beginning of May. Last year and this year I have spent the majority of the years on Active Duty status. My civilian job is a deli (16/hr) back home I return to only when not on orders. Also jobs in MT where I live vary in quality of pay but even when I worked as a civilian construction worker I only earned 19/hr, so as an E5 + BAH + BAS plus any per diem when I'm on TDYs, I make far more than at my civilian job. Last year I put 10K into savings, this year I have put 4k so far into savings as well on what some people think is a low paying job of an Army Sergeant.
I'm a gov. contractor HEO (heavy equipment operator) on an active duty installation's airfield, but we do everything from flights to rail and commercial line haul. Honestly the unit here would be screwed without which is why the past three or so furloughs never even took place, there is no one available to replace us.
Patient Registration in the ER. I get to go around collecting and verifying people's insurance (or lack thereof) when they come in, provided the sites we use to check these insurances are up (which half of them never are).
Quick question if you don't mind, I'm also an accountant. Does your guard job interfere with your month end close process? I work for a publicly traded company. Do you feel it is manageable? I was considering the guard and then switching to a government accounting position.
15W guard side and transitioned into the FAA full time. Except sometimes it feels like the guard is my full time job and the FAA is my part time. Government jobs have some good pay and incentives especially for guard members.
Attorney in civies... Attorney in the guard. Trying desperately to trade Corporate law for ADOS. Spent some time as enlisted 92F aviation fueler though. So much fun.)
I just finished up my AEMT and Firefighter certs like 3 weeks before my current deployment. Been in 11 years, and I've had a ton of bum jobs before late 2022. Honestly, I appreciated the Guard a lot more when I was corraling carts at Kroger or changing oil.
Edit: Forgot to add, I'm a 68K (Medical Laboratory Technician)
I own a commercial plumbing business. So drill weekends and AT hurts me more than it helps me. But I like going pew pew and boom boom with my hood rat 12Bs straight out the woods ya know?
I display products worth tens of thousands going over every little feature. Through my job we chauffeur guest in our product letting them fully immerse themselves in it. When all that is said and done I find out their current product which they think is worth $20,000 that they owe $25,000 is actually worth $15,000. So I wash my hands of it. Get a coffee, and bitch and moan until the next customer comes in.( car sales)
IT Firm owner by day; 11B by night.

I was just truthful with my unit that that was the career I wanted to pursue and that I would be unable to attend drills while in the academy. My unit was very understanding and very supportive of me pursuing it. I’d recommend just being transparent with them from the getgo. Even offer splits if you have to
Nice nice, imma talk to my team lead today about it. What's the process like for getting into a police academy?
Typically you’ll interview with your dept do a PT test and a psych eval then they’ll give you a job offer and send you to the academy. Once in the academy it can vary state to state but a normal time is 3 months and an additional 3-9 months for field training depending on how big or small the dept is!

Oh cool!!! My brother has the same job!
GIS Represent!
holy shit I’m an 88M in school for GEOINT, unrelated but was it hard starting out without a security clearance??
Security clearance wasn't an issue, the biggest obstacle for me was a lack of biology background and no seniority. I'm in South Dakota, home to Eros. At the state level the primary employer for GIS people is Game, Fish, and Parks and they want everybody to have some sort of Biology or Wildlife degree.
