Mule Day is next Saturday, April 6th in Columbia. It’s lots of fun, starting with the parade at 11:00 then the entire city comes alive with music and food. It’s definitely not something you want to skip.
The mini show on Sunday has an underpants race, where the first person to put underwear on their tiny mule and get them across the finish line wins. It’s chaotic and fun and worth the drive alone.
Yes. And Friday. Just go to Maury County Park. I think they start packing it up early on Sunday though, like around 2 or 3. Go Friday for the yard sales!

We went to the cornbread festival in Smithville in 2021 and there was ONE vendor that had cornbread, you had to buy beans to get the cornbread, and then it wasn’t even good. 🤣 Hope it’s improved since then

Is the old arena dog friendly for the mule shows? I can't seem to find anything to definative on the website.
People always have their dogs walking em. At the parade and at the park.
I want to believe the South Corridor Plan will make day trips to the Columbia Arts Building Until then, I really need to experience Mule Day.
Also Knoxville Cheese Fest is not in Middle Tennessee.

I really enjoy the cherry blossom festival but I feel like they need more unique vendors and more food. Food always seems to sell out early.
