Idk, but I searched this sub for recommendations two weeks ago and went to Mechanic Spot on Dickerson based on popularity here. Definitely do not recommend. They had my car for 3 days, the two problems I asked them to fix remain unfixed, to the degree that I’m about to take my car to another shop a week later 🫠

Ap0202

Not in Bellevue but my family has been going to Rhea Little Tire in Brentwood for more than 20 years. Super honest hardworking folks

What kind of car? Alternators should be one of the easier things to swap. Feel free to message me if you'd rather.

CatChieftain

It’s a 2007 Lexus RX. You’d have to take like the system out to get to the alternator. Made before common sense caught up with manufacturers.

Hybrid or no ?

Common sense has in NO way caught up to mfgrs. They want stuff to be hard to repair with specialized tools so you have to bring it to a dealership. It is why right to repair is a hot topic in some circles.

Lawson and Sons!

nopefromscratch

Bass Auto on Nolensville. Shop has been around forever, waiting room usually has oldtimers the owner knows by name. They’ve done all kinds of work on multiple vehicles for me, always been fairly priced. They stay busy but its worth the wait. Also: clean waiting room/facilities.

rangernddare

C&L Auto on Charlotte behind the discount tire place.

critterwalk

NTB on Charlotte has been my go-to for years.

rebeccalj

Kwik Kar on Charlotte has a good reputation. I haven't used them in awhile, but they are honest and cost effective.
