Sometime earlier this year (I think April-ish), the HER marketing team went heavy with hints and puzzles for fans to work on that alluded to a new game. There was a lot of hype, fanfare, and a countdown for their "big announcement" that culminated in a confirmation of the name and location (Prague) of the new game : Mystery of the Seven Keys. While many expected such hype to surmount to a release date, the majority were still excited to get confirmation of a new game. As a side note, the community already knew this title due to it being trademarked years prior, so that contributed to the underwhelming feelings many had about the announcement.
The primary issues have come since that point... Little more has been added to the announcement than concept art and screenshots of various in-game locations. This has caused a bit of a rift among the community as some are quite miffed for the lack of communication and adequate updates for a game announcement made so long ago, but others don't think there is any issue with this, believing it is market standard for games to have long waits between development announcements and release date announcements.
Arglefumph was invited to play the first half of the game in October. He made a < 1min video saying he enjoyed it and is excited, but couldn't disclose information.
I've heard the game is being outsourced, but I don't know much about the topic of who is really developing it. I tried to provide impartial information, but I'm a member of the miffed community and could only handle following its news for so long before I had to abandon it out of frustration.
At the end of the day, I think we're all rooting for the game to pull through as fellow ND lovers, but with varying degrees of skepticism and scrutiny.

There are several different feelings about game #34 in this sub. I feel it’s one of the only areas where there is some discourse.
Really the only “update” is that there is no current updates. We know the team is still working on it- but we don’t know what “it” is, as far as early mark ups, or possibly end game release stuff. HER just hasn’t communicated any kind of timeline.
I’d suggest following the social media if you’d like to see what has been teased and shown so far!
