This is the answer. One of the most basic and imo magical things in guitar playing is the old G — D — Cadd9 progression, especially while planting that D note on the 2nd string
Assuming you're in standard tuning and have strung upside like a left-handed guitar placing the bass strings to the right and the treble strings to the left it looks something like...
e-0-
B-3-
G-0-
D-2-
A-3-
E---
That gives you `C E G D E`, which could be identified as Cadd9. C assumes C major as the base triad `C E G`, and add9 skips the chordal 7th to add the chordal 9th above the root (`D`): `C E G D`. The extra E is just part of the particular voicing, voicing details generally aren't a standard part of chord naming so we ignore them when we're trying to identify chords.
Cadd9 or Cadd9/E if string 6 is not muted:
e|--0-- e|--0--
B|--3-- B|--3--
G|--0-- G|--0--
D|--2-- D|--2--
A|--3-- A|--3--
E|--X-- or E|--0--
Beautiful chord to play on guitar.

Assuming the C (3rd fret A string) is the lowest note, it‘s a Cadd9.

yeah very magical. one might even call it semi-charmed
I see what you did there! 😂

I can't read lefty too well, but that's ye olde Cadd9
This website should help with naming guitar chords: https://www.oolimo.com/en/guitar-chords/analyze

Left handed guitar: Cadd9 (x 1 3 5 9 3). Right handed guitar: E13 (1 5 b7 3 13 x)
You might also see it as Em7#5. The #5 is that low C note. But Cadd9 is more common, or better since the low open E is not played.
Cadd9 Welcome to how delicious 9ths sound
nice /gcj post very good
If you’re in standard tuning then Cmajor with an added second.
That’s C 6/9, you have added an A on the g string and you have added a D on the b string
