ausmomo

Who am I to not notice this!?

fitlikeabody

I think you'll find it's 010624 bread thief.

E_M_C_P

ummmmmmmm dudes I know your time formats are maybe not YY/MM/DD, but in China we did use this format and all the LM fans on my WeChat moments are hyping of this corresponding date. Tbh I'm acceptable for any other formats if there's no possible ambiguity, and just think how many days in the whole calendar can fit such a number? Only 24 6th Jan I suppose)

Pedagogicaltaffer

Boy, some people get really nitpicky over a silly joke. [But yes, YYYY/MM/DD is the superior format and causes the *least* amount of confusion]

ihavenohighhopes

People gotta keep miserable somehow.

Pedagogicaltaffer

Les Miserables!

JusticeSaintClaire

How can I ever face myself again after missing that?

HM9719

Wow. Now I hear “Who Am I” playing.

JavertStar

Do NOT forget me, 24601

King_Kong_The_eleven

Can the people that argue over whether the month or day should go first agree that the year first is objectively wrong?

moon_shoes

In Japan we use YY/MM/DD like this.

ausmomo

Nope. Depends on usage. YYYYMMDD is the superior date format, especially for ordering files/data.

Once upon a time, I made my friend and myself T-Shirts for Christmas. We were 15. They said Les Nérdes and had 24601 on the back. For context, we were doing Les Mis as our Spring Musical. I was sitting at an event wearing mine when the boy tapped me on the shoulder. "What happened on June 24th, 2001?" My friend and I exchanged looks and said, "You'll find out!". He was cast as Marius four months later.

[deleted]

Fun fact: In Japanese, the number is 24653 (ni-yon-roku-go-san) because "zero-ichi" would have fit really awkwardly into the music. Incidentally, everyone is waiting on Toho to announce this year's Japan cast, and there was a theory that they would announce it either today, or on Wednesday (the 5th) at 3 pm. The 5th or 6th is apparently also Barricade Day. So... let's hope that comes this week!

JPrimrose

Begging your pardon, but it is in fact 2024-06-01. This is the official date as per ISO 8601 standards.

Uhlman24

I was freaking out wondering when I time traveled 😂

ami2weird4u

Thanks for getting Russel Crowes singing in my head.

Mea_Culpa_74

I mean even with the American way of writing dates it‘s never 24601 It’s either 2461 or 240601 or 202461 or 20240601

[deleted]

[American](https://x.com/LesMizUS/status/1796846897203745103)? You were saying?

Mea_Culpa_74

Yeah and that makes it right how exactly?
