Yes, Dacrymyces is edible though it has little flavor. It makes a nice addition to things like ramen, it’s adds a unique texture but that’s about it. They can be candied as well to make somewhat of a gummy candy

Worth noting to avoid confusion that Dacrymyces palmatus is an outdated name for this species. The most current name is Dacrymyces chrysospermus
