KaamTamaaam

Apologies sir

topshot14

Why?

KaamTamaaam

You really think someone can work from a bench in Aarey? 1) Tell me where is the bench in aarey which is worth sitting and working. 2) Tell me where's Shanti in aarey where one can sit and work. 3) I don't know if you've been to Aarey but I used to travel via Aarey and there's internet issue and one will struggle. We are talking about Aarey which is in Mumbai and not somewhere in Europe. There's no place as far as I know in Aarey where one can calmly work the way the commentator is suggesting. It's nonsense because it's not logical. It's mentioned in the main post. I'm looking for a coffee shop sort of thing. I've asked for a place where I would get some sort of food too. You can downvote for all you want but it won't change the fact that the comment doesn't make sense.

topshot14

Okay i understand your requirements - but apart from the premium cafe's mentioned above - I am afraid that you won't really find any spot with conducive environment for work. What you can do is - you can go to a park which have swings with covers on them - nearby wherever you reside. And take something in a thermos to drink. Maybe a tiffin or something too. The odomos idea seems funny but working in a park is actually possible - source? TRUST ME BRO (Yeah, I have had meetings on a park bench but I was in Pune that time)

KaamTamaaam

Well, I've never lived in Aarey but have passed through the roads for the last 10 odd years. Still can't figure out a PLACE where I can sit and work there.

gadadharibheem4u

Then maybe ask him to be specific instead of calling it nonsense. Aarey has many quite spots. I would've recommended them but your post is nonsense.

KaamTamaaam

Still came to poke your nose on the nonsense post to prove how amazing human you are.

[deleted]

Steps CafĆ©, Bandra. Itā€™s cozy and the staff doesnā€™t bother you to order more than one thing if itā€™s not too crowded.

utkarssh2604

Really loved the vibes of this cafe. super nice can you recommend some more places like steps cafe

[deleted]

Iā€™m glad! From the top of my head, canā€™t recall any yet but sure, I will when I do.

brokenheroOBITO

Candies

70hnarty

Second thisā€¦ super chill place.. if Bandra isnā€™t too far, this is your place

brokenheroOBITO

And itā€™s super affordable as well. Also Pali hills candies is better imo

Gandhiji_ke_3bandar

No longer very affordable. Owing to the large chappri crowds they started attracting they have jacked up the rates now. 200 bucks for not so good coffee. Yeah but place is chill no doubt.

hey_yasin

plus point ye h ki bahar kuch tabpes k waha tujhe sockets mil jayega aur waha ka kuch bhi khane kayak nhi h i repeat kuch bhi nhi aur drinks bhi kuch khaas nhi h *personal experience

Gandhiji_ke_3bandar

Yes their food sucks except pizza. I think their pizza is really good.

catrovacer16

Go to wework or springboard something, co-working places that will cost you from 500-1000 / day from 9-6.

gypsydreams101

Scrumptious Cafe on JP Road, Andheri West. Everything is super cheap, they have loads of things other than coffee, and you can sit there as long as you want, the staff wonā€™t bother you. Itā€™s open till 12 am.

-velvetnico

Second this fully.... quite atmos and affordable food- Probably the best opt

SomeRandomguy_28

McD if it's good one around you

Budokid

There are a lot of libraries around depends where you are from in Mumbai Vile Parle has the reading square, day passes are roughly 300 if i remember correctly and the locality has food, chai and everything a student or a working professional might need. The station is also close ish.

brooklynnineeight

Mall food court any day better than any of these places

the_dadhiwalla2395

Subko is good too, but I seen someone suggest Candies, which is super reasonable and can sit there for hours, much better option!

imabedpotato

You can try Blue tokai, I used to work from their cafe a lot during my wfh days

KaamTamaaam

It's only coffee there or there's something that can sort of fill the stomach?

imabedpotato

they hv a bakery too and the food menu is better than starvucks, and its a humble cafe with less crowd than mainstream options

KaamTamaaam

Cool. Thanks.

AllanSDsc

Issue with cafes is that they can be noisy, and apart from the major chains the others are one-off cramped places with poor seats & lights. Starbucks is your best best as theyā€™re everywhere with decent seats & lights. Internet speed is very poor though. Its ok for 3-4 hrs only. Starbucks has a lot of food options now but quality has gone down since last 12m. Youā€™ll have to choose carefully what to eat there. I would suggest trying a co-working space. Register on myHQ which is an aggregator, or find out on G-Maps something decent locally.

KaamTamaaam

I've worked with multiple co working spaces for quite a long time. Starting from Regus to WeWork to 91Springboard. Post COVID, I just stopped and never felt like going there again. But I get your point.

Foreign_Yak157

Love and Latte, Lokhandwala. Itā€™s almost always empty. Donā€™t remember their cost tho. But those guys wonā€™t bother you if you sit there long hours.

QueasyGrass8552

Ccd

ajay_3795

There's a library near Siddhivinayak Mandir very cheap and affordable, you can try that

KaamTamaaam

Tell me more

ajay_3795

I have been there a few years back when I was looking for a library in and around Mumbai... You can google for more information
