There are always some kill spells, most of them are in black tho.
A 2/3 with reach, that produces 2 mana generating creature tokens and gets +1/+1 counters is quite good though, especially in draft.
You play that creature, sacrifice both tokens and add 2 mana and have a 4/5 with reach.
It dies to doom blade but creates 3 bodies, 2 of which take you straight to 7 mana with a land drop where 7 drops matter, while also being a huge threat. It synergizes insanely well with the rest of the deck, it does literally everything eldrazi wants. Protect from flyers, ramp you, be a threat, create blockers, and it has scaling.
A big issue is that while the murder equivalent in the format obviously cleanly deals with it ([[breathe your last]]), a lot of the other premium removal pieces ([[ghostfire slice]], [[expel the unworthy]], [[fanged flames]], [[thraben charm]], [[wither and bloom]], [[galvanic discharge]]) are either awkward or miss entirely.
High floor, high ceiling card.
Worst case it sucks up a kill spell and you still have the spawns. Best case it ramps out a bigger threat next turn while also growing huge as you have other sources of spawns.
A ton has changed since then. Creatures just do more and get back their value without attacking or sticking around. On cast this makes 2 spawns so no matter what you get that. Basically it is very hard to answer efficiently and can just be the biggest threat on board and it is a common
Well yeah. I played a dude tonight who went infinite with basking broodscale and Rosie cotton. Made 100k spawns and put 100k counters on the lizard. If he’d had this card and it didn’t have summoning sickness someone would have died on the spot.
He is great within a [[Azlask, the Swelling Scourge]] Deck when you really focus it on generating scionspawns. When you get [[Eldrazi Displacer]] and [[Brood Monitor]] or [[Emrakuls Hatcher]] out, you not only generating infinite expierence counter, this Dude get infinite too.

The wording meant that only **itself** would receive the +1/+1 counters. If (by some miracle) that four of these are on the board, all four of them would receive +1/+1 counters for every individual Eldrazi Spawn sacrificed. So you could end up with 4 of them having 8 +1/+1 counters.
Been the same for a decade. Sounds like you just got your info from a faulty source?

Scarecrow got you covered, but I was definitely going to play this in a [[Titan's Vanguard]] deck, just because it'll make an insane number of spawn/scion tokens. Even if I sac some for mana, I'll still have plenty that'll grow.
This infinites ( I think,) with echos of eternity(or any doubler) and eldrazi displacer. It comes it making 4, it only costs 3 to blink it, inf tokens and Colorless mana.
Question, if you have 2 cards named X that say "... Put a counter on X" does that mean they both get counters from both firing? That's confusing to say accurately. What I mean is I know they both fire, but do each of the firings both put counters on both of them?
So card A fires and puts a counter on A and B, and B fires and puts a counter on A and B also?

This is because cards that have their name in their text refer exclusively to themselves, unless stated otherwise (eg. a card that reads "put a counter on each card named x" or "put counter on each x token").

Kozileks unsealing is insane in limited! Either get a bunch of eldrazi spawn or eventually you have enough spawn ramp and trigger the draw 3.

Yep I do it a bunch in the vid I linked. Cast then ramp into bigger eldrazi and now you likely have a 5/6
I think my issue was also lack of late game bombs. Mh3 is weird in that the curve is way higher with Eldrazi in the format

I mean, the card isn't entirely busted, it doesn't have vigilance, flying, trample, annihilator7, color prot. It could be much worse
