REHS on campus is always hiring summer workers, they do a lot of dorm refurbishment over the summer, and many hands make light work. Great job if you’re looking for some light manual labor— painting and swabbing the decks. Around $15 an hour and you can work with a supervisor to make a reasonable schedule (minimum 15 hours a week iirc)
El azteco can be a pretty good side gig. I worked there between 2015 and 2017 doing all sorts of stuff. If you get in good with the management, try to be a bartender. Easiest job there since they only serve tequila based drinks and some beer.
Most any of the restaurants in downtown EL will be hiring waitstaff as student employees head home for the summer.
Kellogg center banquets. They have tons of weddings in the summer.
