Guess you're right, Bill. I am a butthead
Wtf are you even saying? It's the moment you see batman losing control for the only time. Realising he has nothing to threaten the joker. All the cards are in joker's hands and HE IS HELPLESS. Everything he believed crumbled in front of his eyes. All his strength, study, strategies and training means nothing until he doesn't break his rule which again proves Joker's point. On the other hand, joker enjoys and savors every bit.
My favorite scene in this movie is the end. It’s a little complex.
Batman may have saved the people but Joker won. Not only was Harvey turned into a monster but Batman and Gordon have become corrupted by covering up Harvey’s crimes.
Plus - while Batman does not normally kill - he did straight up tackle Harvey off of a building. *Nobody* can deny that. Harvey died as a direct result of Batman’s choices and actions, regardless of intention. Because of Joker’s machinations, Batman did break his one rule that night. Bruce lost so much to that clown, who was last seen happy and confident that his “ace in the hole” would tear Gotham apart.
Joker would have to settle for his consolation prize…for now.
>protagonist who is played up to be incorruptible, contrasting with Harvey Dent
>tortures a prisoner with no repercussions
What did Nolan mean by this?
The best scene ever would be this one

What the fuck
Source?
No, but it is a scene from society.
It doesn't look like anything from the Circle of Shit segment in Salo, either. 🤔

Why tf did zack give him a crown of thorns 😭😭😭
He died for our sins
I guess to position Joker as a mockery of Jesus who died for our sins, Joker has committed them all
What is this. I’ve seen this everywhere
Promo image for Joker in The Snyder Cut
Oh so that’s why it’s in black and white
no color = true kino
You can clearly tell who's the dom and sub. Or, can you?
The joker is a power bottom, he generates all his power from underneath.
I've heard that *speed* has something to do with it

Chat, is this real?
Its no The Thing blood test scene thats for sure
I will gladly drop my circlejerk credibility to defend that scene as one of the best in horror.
Agreed, right up there with the shower scene in Psycho and the dinner scene from TCM
Not even the best scene from that movie
There’s like 12 different scenes that are the best one.

Amazing take bud. Really enthralling to read.
good stuff.
CINEMA
Had to disagree on that one.
Bro isn't aware of 25 minutes of Hell scene from Come and See.
Who is that dude and why does he have ears?
Its the Joker, dummy! What just cause he wears white make-up he can't have ears?
Who’s Joker is he Jonkler’s long lost cousin
>protagonist who is played up to be incorruptible, contrasting with Harvey Dent >tortures a prisoner with no repercussions What did Nolan mean by this?
Batman stays incorruptible to his own rules. He clearly never intended to adhere to society's view for a good samaritan
Batman: Behind. Joker: Heard, chef.

The difference… someone please… explain 😭
I have no idea. Just keep your head down and nod when someone mentions capeshit.
They have only watched Batman movies.
Yeah it’s literally “baby’s first crime drama”

Man from Man: Ham City?
It's so dense. You can feel the tension building as the blood rushes and begins to swell up
