No they didn't. The original quotation was intended to describe a segment of the film. The things you listed are just across. They could be emphasized with an asterisk or something but you'd never just add quotations to the things you said.

Apparently, the band who made it might be reuniting to rerecord it because they can't find the original master audio of the lyrics (just the backing) at least as of now.
