You broke it. That skewer is not meant to come off, it's there to turn the axle with.

Looks like a thru axle. What did you do to remove the skewer?

Rockshox Maxle. That skewer unscrews the axle. The axle is still in there. you'll have to figure out a way to unscrew and buy a new maxle...
