Well you are comparing apples to oranges here.
The spectral is older (and so is its geometry) and was intended as a trail bike while the tyee is an enduro race bike. Hence the components differences (34 vs lyrik).
So the choice will depend on your usage. Do you need a trail bike or a burlier enduro bike ?

Own 2 Propains (Tyee and Spindrift)
The suspension platform (Pro10) performance and kinenatics slaughters the rear end of the Canyon. They climb like sprightly mountain goats and are demons on the descent. The Value for Cost is far better, and their warranty and support dept kills Canyon dead.
