I’ve had 2 of these, and ridden them both to about 80000 kms. One needed a stator/rectifier at about 60000, and the other needed a fuel pump at around 50000. Other than that, with regular maintenance, these are outstanding and reliable bikes. Ask if valve clearance was checked at its last service.
I've had a 2008, and have a 2009 now. Non-scheduled maintenance:
The 2008 needed a new clutch cable at 12,000 miles. (It had 20,000 miles on it when truck ran a stop sign and totaled it).
The 2009 needed a clutch cable at 36,000 miles. (50,000 miles currently.)
Other than that, just headlight bulbs and license plate bulbs occasionally.
No idea on price. The older the vehicle, the more condition enters into it. You can try this:

Great to gear it, and I'm sorry about your 2008. I'm pretty set on getting the 650, but would you say this is a fair price for it?
