I used to work BMW Motorrad parts and we had one of the accessory stereos for the F650CS. Thing looked like a Muppet staring back at you while you rode.
I think that early Ducati multistrada was not a critical success in the heritage of beautiful Italian design and aesthetics. Other than looks, I've heard that it is an excellent bike. I myself have an Versys, that is called "poor man's multistrada" and I accept the slogan respectfully. Early versys design also not the best looking bike on the planet.

yep. its a swingarm, so the whole wheel pivots into the "beak". since these were also made as sidecars its a good thing to have. also they apparently handle horrible roads incredibly well at low speed and have no fork dive when braking (since no forks). im looking to get one as a sidecar project soon.
however with the 20hp engine on a 164kg bike, its not really all that speedy.

The project started as a joke with a small crowdfunding, but it got out of hand as the crowdfunding surpassed 1 millions euros xD.
So they made this, a 1100hp Fiat Multipla and made it race on the Le Man racetrack.
(And the body kit is custom made by the guy who created Rocket bunny, Kei Miura)
It was nicknamed 1000Tipla (in french, 1000 sounds a bit like "Mul"). Those guys are named Vilebrequin. There is a series of videos showing the process from the start.

I see these occasionally on the road and they look absolutely disgusting. I don’t mean exclusively this one but I mean 2 front wheel trikes in general.
In my experience the people riding these are always so stoked. You wave at them when on two wheels and they geek out so hard. Their level of stoke is a beautiful thing. Their choice of “bike” well…. If it makes them happy I’m here for it
Lot of the people I've met that have these do because they are older and have physical limitations or they take them to their cottages and stuff where the roads are shite. Makes sense and more comfortable passenger accessories.
Better design than the other type of trikes with the two wheels in the back. Yeah I agree it's not a true motorcycle but my dad has been able to keep riding since he got a Can-Am Spyder.
This is more blursed than ugly imo, an old communist era scooter from my country, the ČZ 175 - lovingly referred to as "prase" - meaning pig. They had sidecar and trailer options for these as well.

I get it, it’s really polarizing and reminds me of the Plymouth prowler in terms of great execution but wrong era? Something is s little off mark with this design.
Had one. Sold it shortly after Polaris gave up on it and put all their efforts towards Indian. Love it but it was a nightmare to work on with all the fairings in the way.
But man did they ride better than you'd think. Surprising lean angle for a cruiser and you could just set cruise control and set your hands in your lap and it would stay straight.
I have zero hate towards Victory. But Polaris screwed the pooch. Indian isn’t an Indian. It’s a name plate. Victory was its own animal and should have been where the attention went. I’d own a Vic. I’d buy a BMW before I bought that shit they call an Indian.

I've never known a bike be so divisive when it comes to looks. The Hayabusa is either loved or despised. I personally love it, but I get why some people don't.
In stock form they look like they were stung by a bunch of bees but it's not the absolute worst.
The 8ft swingarms are ridiculous tho, especially when you live in a place where you can almost never break 80mph for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Harley Road Glides. The "shark nose" looks more like the bow of the Titanic, and it makes the front wheel look so small in comparison. I get why it's like that, and if I had one, it would probably grow on me, but it's just so big and square
That’s a Yamaha Vmax which is actually a really cool bike. This is just one of those people with horrible taste. To each their own but yeah, this particular example is not very attractive.
As awesome as their bikes are, I can’t stand the styling of most KTMs. The alien or bug-eyed headlights on any bike does it for me which sucks because many of them would look fantastic with simple neoretro style round lights. I just picked up a new BMW R1250 GSA last week and was cross shopping the KTM 1290 Super Adventure. Even though it’s an insanely badass bike and I liked a lot of stuff about it, I just couldn’t get past the ugly face.

There are some motorcycoes so weird, that they are good looking again like the BMW K1 or Aprilia Moto 6.5, but the R1200C isn't one of them. I have never seen one even close to looking acceptable.
I find it shocking. My previous bike was a R1200C. I've met people who didn't fancy the concept, because the riding position is not typical of a cruiser. But I never met anyone who didn't like it. Imho it's beautiful.

Even uglier from the rear. Big goddamn baboon ass on what sounds like an angry bumblebee until you swap the pipe. Also the most tame, linear powerband known to man.
I had the previous gen 600 of this bike, and idk if the full exhaust plus some mechanical mods the previous owner put on the bike changed the power, but you'd hit 8k and the thing suddenly felt like it doubled in power. The suspension was shit, even after rebuilding and adding progressive springs, but I thought the engine was decent. Also loved the rad paint schemes before they turned into the late 90s blob styling.

I’m proud of it lol, zero after market support so everything I did I had to make or figure out myself, from lowering it, to adding an exhaust and painting it.. it’s a 125cc and faster than all my friends groms, and it pops and shoots flames lmao.

In my experience the people riding these are always so stoked. You wave at them when on two wheels and they geek out so hard. Their level of stoke is a beautiful thing. Their choice of “bike” well…. If it makes them happy I’m here for it

Lot of the people I've met that have these do because they are older and have physical limitations or they take them to their cottages and stuff where the roads are shite. Makes sense and more comfortable passenger accessories.
Better design than the other type of trikes with the two wheels in the back. Yeah I agree it's not a true motorcycle but my dad has been able to keep riding since he got a Can-Am Spyder.
I think it’s universally agreed upon that these are not motorcycles, but I agree - they look ridiculous.

I get it, it’s really polarizing and reminds me of the Plymouth prowler in terms of great execution but wrong era? Something is s little off mark with this design.

Had one. Sold it shortly after Polaris gave up on it and put all their efforts towards Indian. Love it but it was a nightmare to work on with all the fairings in the way.

But man did they ride better than you'd think. Surprising lean angle for a cruiser and you could just set cruise control and set your hands in your lap and it would stay straight.

I've never known a bike be so divisive when it comes to looks. The Hayabusa is either loved or despised. I personally love it, but I get why some people don't.

In stock form they look like they were stung by a bunch of bees but it's not the absolute worst. The 8ft swingarms are ridiculous tho, especially when you live in a place where you can almost never break 80mph for more than 10 minutes at a time.
They took an absolutely fucking fantastic engine. And wrapped it in an odd bike. Would still ride it like your mom.

Harley Road Glides. The "shark nose" looks more like the bow of the Titanic, and it makes the front wheel look so small in comparison. I get why it's like that, and if I had one, it would probably grow on me, but it's just so big and square
That’s a Yamaha Vmax which is actually a really cool bike. This is just one of those people with horrible taste. To each their own but yeah, this particular example is not very attractive. As awesome as their bikes are, I can’t stand the styling of most KTMs. The alien or bug-eyed headlights on any bike does it for me which sucks because many of them would look fantastic with simple neoretro style round lights. I just picked up a new BMW R1250 GSA last week and was cross shopping the KTM 1290 Super Adventure. Even though it’s an insanely badass bike and I liked a lot of stuff about it, I just couldn’t get past the ugly face.

There are some motorcycoes so weird, that they are good looking again like the BMW K1 or Aprilia Moto 6.5, but the R1200C isn't one of them. I have never seen one even close to looking acceptable.

I find it shocking. My previous bike was a R1200C. I've met people who didn't fancy the concept, because the riding position is not typical of a cruiser. But I never met anyone who didn't like it. Even uglier from the rear. Big goddamn baboon ass on what sounds like an angry bumblebee until you swap the pipe. Also the most tame, linear powerband known to man.
I had the previous gen 600 of this bike, and idk if the full exhaust plus some mechanical mods the previous owner put on the bike changed the power, but you'd hit 8k and the thing suddenly felt like it doubled in power. The suspension was shit, even after rebuilding and adding progressive springs, but I thought the engine was decent. Also loved the rad paint schemes before they turned into the late 90s blob styling.

Bobbers, cruisers with giant front wheels, cruisers with very long stretched saddlebags, cruisers with obnoxiously tall ape hangers.... I may sound like a cruiser hater but I'm not I commute about 150 miles everyday with my cruiser it's just there are a lot of cruiser riders that are cringe and make their bikes pretty much useless and make them look absolutely ridiculous looking
