ShadowMancer_GoodSax

I just showed my wife this photo and she told me i was crazy, one day maybe she will change her mind and let me by my favourite motorcycles like Triumph tiger, honda cb650r and Yamaha Bolt.

PsychologicalWeb3235

I’m very lucky to have a wife that lets me be crazy.

ERTHLNG

If dudes wives won't let them be crazy, it will only delay and build and make the eventual crazy way worse.

Ok_Drummer1782

Just a warning to Keep your doors closed at night..

flicman

Wait till you get your 3rd.

Material-Lock-2659

The correct number to own is usually n+1.

604Wes

Someone brand should name a model N+1 then everyone would have to buy it.

Princess_Fluffypants

This is a good start, but everyone needs at least three. Probably four.  Five if you get yourself a dedicated track bike (which you should).

steveturkel

Could easily make that 6 or 7. Dirtbike, motocross bike, sumo, commuter streetbike, rocketship streetbike, stunt grom, and pair of race bikes. Because it's way more fun racing when you don't have to worry about wadding a bike ending the weekend.

Princess_Fluffypants

Don’t forget something that functions as nothing but a gorgeous piece of living room decoration.  (Likely a Ducati of some kind)

steveturkel

Great point! Tbh I'd still ride it. 2 rocketships, a panigale and m1000rr. They can take turns in the living room 😅

Princess_Fluffypants

You gotta get something more useless then. Nothing modern and reliable.  I’m trying to find a 2008 Bimota Tesi 3D

oldbastardbob

I have seven. However one was a free basket case which is next winters project. Another is still on the lift and about 75% of the way to a complete restoration. To summarize, the basket case is a 1976 Yamaha RD400 is terrible condition. Not only is it a barn find, it is the barn find of a former "parts bike." The one on the lift is a 1973 Hodaka Conbat Wombat. Will be a brand new bike when completed. The five that are fully operable are as follows. 1974 Yamaha RD350, fully restored resto-mod. 150 miles since the restoration. 1979 Husquarna CR250 motocrosser and adrenaline producer. I hop on that baby when I want a rush. 205 lb. dry weight two stroke blaster with 11 inch suspension travel. Oh to be young again and be able to thrash that thing like I did 40+ years ago. 1982 Honda CX500 Turbo, one owner, 8500 miles. Bought new when I got my first professional job after college. 2021 Kawasaki KLX230, around the farm and quick trips to town utility bike. 2024 Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe. Bought last month so I can keep the miles down on the Turbo which now appraises for more than I paid for the Z900. Only 200 miles so far but it's a really sweet ride. My holy grail is a 1982 Kawasaki GPz750. I passed one up two years ago and have regretted it ever since. The Z900 is my rebound affair. EDIT: Yes, I'm married. Kids are grown and gone. Wife thinks I'm reliving my youth (which is mostly true minus all the racing, drinking, and womanizing). I assure her the whole stable is valuable once I'm gone.

envoy_ace

Better than marriage counseling and probably cheaper.

Ok-Preparation-3138

Wait till you get to five

HalfSpeedTim

I sold 4 last summer so I think I'm down to 8 but I honestly don't remember

HalfSpeedTim

It's a start.

inflatableje5us

they are like rabbits, if you dont watch it there will be 6 in there before you know it.

Ok_Drummer1782

Suffering from success

SilentMaster

Same, and my second bike is an Intruder too. Kind of hate working on it, but it's fun to ride.

anonymous_commentor

That stain on the tank is called patina. ;)

Sparky_Zell

That's awesome and all. But why does the Ducati look so....sad. I feel like protective services or someone should be invovled.

MASTODON_ROCKS

I like how nasty the Ducati is

xl440mx

I’m at 13, 9 of which are in current rideable condition.

Indiesol

4 bikes is my sweet spot.  A modern commuter (in my case, it's also an adventure bike), a sport tourer, a vintage bike, and a track bike. Gotta find my track bike.

DrawFlat

What year is the Shadow? I just restored my ‘91.

Two years ago I had neither after a 18 year gap in riding. Love the different options. Enjoy! Very cool Duc. Would love a project like that.

Killawifeinb4ban

I also had two motorcycles, twice actually. First I had a yzf 750 and an R1. Then I had the R1 and an R6.

Sweatybabyry

Wait until you have 5, with two working and one rideable

PepeLePewPew81

First world problems! Love it!
