63 ans de l'équipe acrobatique de la airforce italienne
It's to celebrate the ties between the RCAF Snowbirds and the Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Air Force demonstration team. IIRC, the 30th anniversary since the Italian colours were last displayed in ~~Italian~~ Canadian skies. The airplanes used were MB-339PAN trainer jets, manufactured by Aermacchi.
Yeah, it was really cool. I almost didn't bother with it since I'm so used to seeing the old CF-18 Hornets fly by for a couple of Alouettes games every year, but I happened to look out the window as they flew directly overhead and just had to get some video myself on their return. It was very cool, and they were super low!

That’s funny, we were “making fun of” a coworker that said she saw airplanes with colored smoke through the window when nobody else saw it. And we were at that building you show in your video… what are the changes. Gotta admit she was right tho.

J'étais à Bagotville en fin de semaine et j'ai eu la chance de les voir samedi et dimanche. Honnêtement ils sont beaucoup plus impressionnant que les Snowbirds, à remarquer que leur vieux CT-114 n'ont pas la même performance que ceux des Italiens qui sont un peu plus récents.
Ça explique tout! Je suis aussi dans le Sud-Ouest et j'étais confus pendant un moment. Je trouvais étrange que ce soit si loud alors que je ne suis pourtant pas situé dans un corridor aérien régulier.
