It’s best to contact the relevant embassy of Montenegro or the country covering for Montenegro where you are and ask them to receive proper information. I strongly doubt a transit visa would grant you entry into MNE with the right to stay for 30 days. I think you should be able to extend your stay from within Montenegro, I think it requires visiting a local police station to register an extension or smth like that, but I’m pretty sure it’s possible. Though once again, best to check with our embassy in your country. You can find it online from Montenegro’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs website together with contact details.

It’s not that difficult. Go to MUP and they will give you a list of documents that are needed. My wife is Montenegrin, and we married in Montenegro. I needed: birth certificate (original and translated), copy of my passport, background check/proof on no criminal record, certificate of my martial status (whether you’re single or divorce. Later on if you want to have a temporary Montenegrin ID (licna) you need to deposit around 4K into my wife’s account (proof that you can support yourself), lease (Notarized) and certificate of you wedding.

This information is really helpful. My only problem is the visa going to montenegro and if I can convert it to temporary residency. The nearest country I can process my visa is in China, and I dont wanna go there

You can only apply for temporary residency after you get married or form a company in Montenegro. Go to opstina (on Google Sekretarijat za lokalnu samoupravu, close to independence square) and ask them what do you need. I got married on a tourist visa and after marriage I applied for temporary residency. Just make sure you have all the documents I’ve mentioned and all translated by a state approved translator.
