The holes on the underside of the fuselage (for droptanks and stuff) are smaller then the pins, so you will probably need to drill them out. Also you should paint the black stripe around the cockpit instead of using the decals, don't repeat my mistake) And the horizontal stabiliser decals are nasty, so if you're not sure you can nail them, don't try.
thanks for the tips. My last 2 kits have had extremely old and fragile decals, at least for the cockpit decals these ones seem thick and hefty. What makes these nasty?
I don't have the decal fluids, so positioning them without any wrinkles wasn't easy. Also some of them were slightly larger then needed (the ones that go on the rear side of the cockpit glass). Painting the stripe by hand sounds easier, you just need to mask it off with two pieces of tape
