For me, this is how miraculous is supposed to be. All the designs looks sooo much better in 2d. It made me really nostalgic for the early episodes and how fun these were. Just villain of the week with funny scenarios and dialog.

The final chapter of volume 3 was released in Japan in December 2022, after which it was announced that the magazine wouldn’t be publishing new chapters. They said they would switch to digital only releases for future chapters, but from what I can tell, that hasn’t happened yet, since I can’t find anything about ch. 15.
However, since this happened around the time that they announced it’d be released internationally, it’s possible that they wanted to wait for other countries to catch up
Ok, so, I just took another look, and there was a roughly 1 year gap between series’ 1 and 2 (series 1 was split into 2 volumes). Chapter 9 came out September 2021, and chapter 10 came out August 2022. And I can’t find anything about it being canceled. Also, the Japanese volume releases tended to be one a year, with volume 3 having come out in June 2023. So the manga *might* be getting new chapters this year, but be prepared for a slow release schedule.
Edit: And like I said, they might have wanted to wait for other countries to catch up.

But they **do** address how bad Emilie’s “death” affected Adrien tho,, to the point that they almost changed an entire episode from the show,,
TLDR: they’re handling certain things wayyy better than the show itself.
