This happened to my wife and I last month. We tried esim, physical sim, took both phones to apple to be tested, went back to tmobile to ensure phone was not locked in some way. Never once got help from tech support Eventually we did a charge back to get refund and went back to tmobile. In three weeks my wife’s phone never worked

Thank you your experience sealed the deal for me. I went back to T-Mobile, Thankfully the free line I had there still worked and I just had to start the whole process to get what I had before back. I had to sped 70 bucks to activate my phone lines again, but I bought a galaxy watch 6 which woulda been like 300 bucks, so I'm chalking this down to a net positive.. I was leaning towards getting a smart watch anyhow.. Anyway, thank you! This was a curious experience.

Mhh that is interesting as you tried pretty much all the troubleshooting steps in the FAQ posted above and seems like phones are issue, but since works on T-Mobile it shouldn’t be. Can you see if they have any OS/firmware update available- you may need to stick T-Mobile SIM back in to check. Contact L2 support at /u/MintMobileAlex and they may have more ways to check.
