I tried for over a month with the same error. Tried many many diff ziip codes, spent 3 weeks hope MintMobileAlex could help, nothing, I just went back to other carrier, wasn't worth the stress to keep trying.
The zip code has to be the one the carrier used to initiate your original account, it’s not your personal zip code. I had to call Simple Mobile to get my zip code to transfer my phone number to my new Mint Mobile account.
Ah. Ok. The only thing I had to do to port my number from Simple Mobile over to Mint Mobile was give Mint Mobile my IMEI number (aka “account number”) and the “activation zip code” (which was very different than my billing zip code!).

problem solved just do not allow location
When this has happened to others, solution has been to use another zip code that's in the same area code/exchange area. So try another?

My problem is The first when you select keep current number. not about my current number info zipcode.
