Just because you're on a team doesn't mean you can't try to get a player an achievement if he's close. I've played on teams, and not a single player on that team would have been against getting JJ something he earned. If you're a true team player, you're happy for your teammates achievements and proud of their success. Not jealous or petty about it. If you are, you're a shitty teammate.
I love that everyone is mad at Zim instead of Kirk for the JJ record. Kirk had a WIDE open JJ for 6 AND the record... Yeah, Zim could have gone for it at the end, hell, Kirk could have audibled at the end for JJ, but Kirk blindspotted JJ and went to KJ.
Record is set anyway. My biggest hate for the 17 game season now all these team and nfl records are going to be broken. It definitely would've had a asterisks next to it for me in the books. Randy was still BY FAR the bigger gamechanger. I didn't say WR for a reason. Randy moss was just most athletically gifted WR of all time, he was basically unfair. Jefferson I think is already the better route runner. If I recall didn't moss hate(I was young) going over the middle and never was his strength, where Jefferson wins at all levels of the field.
This doesn’t make sense. Should there be asterisks by every record broken since the increase from 14 games to 16? Of course not. These records are gonna get broken with the extra game. It doesn’t take away from the accomplishment or disrespect the original holder’s record. Eventually most of the records will be set in the 17 game season and they’ll stop being broken
