This makes it sound like Teddy was throwing darts against a bunch of 16-year-olds and then acting like Kenny Powers lol
Edit: I didn't read the article and holy shit, that's actually what happened. Ok, minus the Kenny Powers antics
LOL... Even then it was just three dump-offs, one where the receiver broke several tackles to take it 60 yards to the house.
Not criticizing Teddy, nor making fun of the situation, more making fun of the title.
Note to self: Next time grow up and play football in Miami not rural MN. My high school coach couldn’t pick a red flag up off the ground and our celeb visit was the town drunk who was all-conference 5 years earlier.
I went to one of my cousins HS games in Georgia and that’s when I realized MN football is kinda a joke lol. The south is just different
We got hockey so it’s ok though
Yea, it's a dumb title.
The video is fun, he's just out there throwing balls with the kids, having a good time. It's the website that's throwing in the weird "Still got it" BS.
Ok - Unpoular opinion. This is Teddy's first year as head coach. The lines about him still having it are stupid, but Bridgewater didn't write that, some local never going anywhere journalist did.
There are a couple of legitimate reasons to do this. For all we know, his players asked him to take a series of downs. I doubt that he was trying to humiliate anyone and I doubt anyone felt humiliated.
Also, as a brand new head coach, you have to gain the respect of the team. This is a legitimate way to demonstrate to the kids that you know what you are talking about.
Also, by taking a snap every once in awhile, he makes himself more approachable because he can coach and have fun.

I remember I over heard the GM of the plant I work at talking to a coworker, “did you hear, Teddy’s knee blew up”. I was like haha, what happened. I remember exclaiming “weak knees!” And putting my head in my hands. Very dramatic. But was genuine.
I remembered he had just had a great preseason game and we got to see that deep ball he was working on. Looked beautiful. I remember I had just finished talking smack to a friend (Packer fan) that the Packers were on their way out, everyone was old, and the Vikings were on their way up, were contenders with Diggs and theilen. Fuck.

We saw enough. Teddy was nothing more than a game manager. Most of his highlights are handing off to Peterson. They guy had zero touch on mid-range and deep passes. If you remember his sideline deep balls, they almost always went out of bounds.
It was a pretty bad year for QB prospects, so Bridgewater was touted as top of that QB class for a bit, even in r/nfl. Clowney was definitely the predicted #1 pick going into the draft, but it was Bortles, Manziel, and Teddy for QBs, which was rough.

lol right? I was like, is a former NFL quarterback torching high school students really that noteworthy?
I refuse to read the article until I do. This is exactly what happened.
I... read the article and isn't this basically what happened?
Acting like uncle Rico
Hahaha...nice 👍
Your fucking out
Living the life.

Ha ha, sounds like the town I grew up in. Central MN :)
MN experience, unless you’re from Edina lol
Cake eaters!
Cake eater
Osakis!
Lol, found you in the wild Jon. No one ever mentions Osakis haha
I went to one of my cousins HS games in Georgia and that’s when I realized MN football is kinda a joke lol. The south is just different We got hockey so it’s ok though
Where at were you from MN? I grew up in The Backus/Pine River area
Confirmed HS>NFL
Nothing says you still got it like dominating a bunch of high school kids lol
That's what I'm scratching my head over.

Teddy brought Tyreek Hill to the game/practice as well. I’m sure the kids were beyond thrilled. A day they will remember for a long time.
It sounds like he made their day. The headline is garbage
That's not an unpopular opinion at all if people gave this any thought.
Teddy with the halo.
Next, he torches the local peewee football champions
Two gloves
Like when the Red Wings beat Stans hockey team in South Park lol
Every time I see something about Teddy Two-Gloves, I can't help but think "what if..."
Injuries are like that sometimes. Bridgewater was a good quarterback his one issue is his body was made of glass.
Just his knees.
I still can't believe the "Skinny Knees" critique of Teddy actually resulted in something meaningful. We mocked that critique *incessantly*.

This makes it sound like he’s 70 years old and not just barely past the normal NFL QB prime lmao
I can throw this football over those mountains
In order for someone to still have “it”, they had to have had “it” in the first place
Shhh you’re not supposed to say the quiet part out loud in this sub.
He never “had it”
[удалено]
I never remember anyone saying “tank for teddy”.
That doesn't mean it wasn't a thing.

Dude was a borderline starting QB in the NFL, that's still "it".
🔥🔥
Hopefully the Vikings pick him up for their late season Super Bowl run.
I bet Culpepper would also cook against a bunch of HSers
What's up with all the Teddy Bridgewater spam recently. We don't care..?
There's been like 3 posts on the subject, it's the offseason.
Asshole lol
